These are awesome!
Watched my mechanic use these. I was so IMPRESSED I bought a set. This is straight up the real deal. I watched him center punch some 1/4 steel plate. Used the 1/4 bit and drilled through it in under 3 seconds. 4 holes, 3 seconds each hole. Then put in the 3/8 bit. Went through each hole enlarging in under 2 seconds!!! Then enlarged with 1/2 bit. Went through in under 3 seconds! Are you kidding me...1/4 plate steel. This is for real. He was using a snap-on 1/2 air drill, and I admit that is one wicked, nasty, high torque drill...he said a normal drill would stall...but these bits are nasty. I'll send a video soon.

They break on 304 stainless even though the description says "hard metals". Beware...
They break on 304 stainless even though the description says "hard metals". Buyer beware... don't use on actual hard metals... too much money to spend to have this happen! Purchased to drill holes in stainless steel for artwork/sculptures. Was using on 3/16 plate. Apparently that's too thick or something, I don't know what the problem might or could have been because this type of bit was recommended by an AI search and in the product description it says for use on "hard metals" but... I broke 4 different bits almost instantly, applying just barely enough pressure to make appropriate progress (not too hard such that you jam up the bit and not so light that it just spins and makes heat without removing material... the pressure was appropriate) and none of the bits penetrated the 3/16 inch plate without breaking. After the first one snapped at the bit end, I tried others wondering what could have went wrong... tried four different sizes, all snapped and broke. Extremely disappointing.

These bits tore through harden steel and a weld like nothing. Great set of bits

Not the best
These are ok. On the first use in aluminum some of the smaller bits lost the tip which then flattened the rest of the bit. Lost about 5 on the first use in aluminum
