Genuine only that....
I love the fact and ease of setting up the encryption lock and the provided factory reset code. Problem is if the original cable provided get missing💥, can't use normal USB cables to view or manage your data.

Great backup!
After buying a cheaper backup which said it was 1TB but was only 31g, I bought this Seagate as a replacement. The old backup I had was also a Seagate and lasted at least 10 years and 2 PCs. This will do automatic backups as well as scheduled. This new Seagate has slightly over a terrabyte so there's that. Again, you get what you pay for. This is a great one with very easy installation.

Good compact product
Great hard drive so far and I have had it a year, it does keep disconnecting but I’m not sure if this is the cable that came with it or my usb connection that’s dodgy. It looks nice too, not too bulky and nice design

Good looking...working well...good speed...password protection installation takes time
Very good...seemed a bit old pack but the unit is good ...was a inspection by delivery agent type of delivery with 99 rupees fee...set up process takes time to login to seagate account , download toolkit software, and then put a password etc...this has password protection ...so each time have to put a password and it requires to download a toolkit software by seagate...which consumes power n memory ...if transferring a lot of files make sure to not set the power option to sleep on laptop..else it will autolock and have to reput the password to make it active in this process if transferring some files it could lead to a confusion as to what is transferred and what is not...i had to opt for cut and paste and then merge folders to ensure no data missed which consumed more time...the speed is good at around 75mbps...the product looks good..very small size and is nice...the cable supplied is usb micro b on d hdd and usb A for the laptop...if want to connect to mobile then need a connector or new wire...not sure whether mobiles can read it as I haven't tried it...Ideally usb3.2 mobiles should support it ...hard disk gets hot during longer operation and spins heavily...so ensure is kept open for air circulation...good product and hope serves well...available size is 1.81tb only...
