Great pump
Great pump. Built in switch makes it much more suitable than the floating switch types.

Iffy
I was pleased that this pump came with a fitted plug. I was not impressed when I discovered that one of the pins was bent. Fortunately I have a big screwdriver which I was able to use to bend it back into it's proper place.

Good - but no check valve
Pump initially worked very well, until the end of the job when I discovered there was no check valve. As it didn't have a check valve as advertised, it got returned. If you don't need a check valve then this is a 5* pump, however if a check valve is important it's 1*. It seems I'm not the only reviewer to have received a pump missing the check valve so this does seem to be a misleading description.

Compact, powerful and robust
Been working for me for many months. Good quality. Reliable. The outlet pipe froze solid and I was worried the pump trying to pump though a blocked pipe would knaker it - but no - its still going.

If inlet blocked by leaf etc will not move water
Sadly the float switch is no good for me as not reliable. If inlet obstructed air is pulled down from float apparatus so no flow . Unfortunately no good pump on the market which operates in a tight space . Some other pumps use the same mechanism. I went past the return date too. So not a good buy. In some ways the pump is too powerful. The lower part of the pump is not robust.
