Chess pieces are well made and came well packaged.

Good-looking set but needs more careful packaging
All pieces bundled into a plastic bag... one consequently damaged. Now I have the hassle of returning it. Not exactly cheap for what they are (IMHO) , but I have ordered a replacement set, so that's some recommendation I guess...

NICE LOOKING CHESSMEN and thats about it!
The Chessmen in this £25.00 set are classic Staunton, clearly defining each piece with a nice slender style to the King and Queen. (with 2 extra Queens) The King is 3.83in tall (97mm) not 4ins tall as described, so a little undersized! Also, the Chessmen are very light, having no weights inside for stability. The plastic feels very brittle, so will probably chip if knocked, Kings crown-piece is especially fragile. Overall, a nice looking Chess set....but that's where compliments end. Not sure if this lightweight set is worth £25.00, the pieces were all shoved into a small tatty plain cardboard box too, so presentation was zero, as manufacturers couldn't be bothered. Hence only 3 stars overall. Finally, not recommended for any serious Chess players or Chess set collectors, give it a miss.
