Kenwood Relpacement Blender/liquidiser Base for: BL330, BL430, FP480, FP580 Etc (680941)

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this Kenwood replacement base as my original one, the screws and the rubber seal broke off when I was using it. My liquidiser is an old which I didn't know the model number. So I took a chance on this one and it fits perfectly and it came with a rubber seal, and the grind can now be used again which I wasn't expecting, so I also ordered some rubber replacement seals . I've added a photo of the original base liquidiser that fits the replacement base to give others an idea of which Kenwood it fits, hope this helps other customers.

Item exactly as described and just what was needed to refurbish existing blender as previous base leaked constantly. After replacing original base, blender works like new.

This is a genuine kenwood part sold in good faith by sussex spares. Kenwood are labelling the boxes incorrectly as liquidiser base when they should state multi mix base THIS WILL NOT FIT YOUR LIQUIDISER. I have kept it as a spare.The part you will need must be part number 684428.

Unfortunately this item did not fit my Kenwood Major, over 20 yrs old, although it did arrive well packed and on the day I was told it would. I returned it and have received an email to the effect that I will receive a full refund. I had hoped that it would fit, but was not over optimistic, it was a gamble but one I thought worthwhile. You win some you loose some!

Good replacement part but did not work initially. Fortunately I hadn't thrown the old one away and found that two small red pieces of plastic were missing on the base of the replacement which actually trigger the switch. On taking these from the old part and putting them on the replacement, it worked. Would advise holding on to old part in case you have the same thing happen.

Not what I thought of it!

Initially this seemed a great replacement for my broken old one but as soon as I started using it for blending liquids like batter I found it leaks despite how tight you do it up. Not great. Would not recommend it.

This replacement part arrived very quickly after ordering. I was delighted to find it on Amazon as I was afraid that I wouldn`t find the part anywhere.I did find, however, that it was quite difficult to get it to screw on snugly and it needed a few attempts to get it fitted without it leaking- it could possibly be due to the blender jar being old. All in all it`s working well now making smoothies every morning !
