ESV New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs (TruTone, Chestnut)

perfect for my needs. not one negative aspect. can read the font. can pack easily and has new testament and psalms and proverbs. perfect.

For the most part, New Testaments are way too small and low quality. My older eyes that require reading glasses don’t want to read the tiny print in the majority of New Testaments that are abundantly available. I would even scale this Bible up by an inch in both width and height, and increase the font size. But thanks to Crossway for making a New Testament in this size. The font is good. Very readable. Pages are thicker than every other Bible I have, so that is nice. I do feel like the price is too high at almost $30. It seems to me that the price reflects the lack of choice for decent sized New Testament with better than mass market quality, so I paid the price. I wanted the genuine leather binding, but that version of this New Testament was unavailable. So I’m taking a chance on the Trutone binding/cover. I’ve had synthetic bible covers crack and flake apart. Hopefully this cover can stand the test of Time.

Sent as a gift. The timing was just right. They were thinking of a small enough bible to carry with them. Whether in the car, store, in line, some extra time on their hands. Well worth it. The font is great. The weight and size is perfect. Say about the same size as a personal Filofax.

Love the smaller and more portable nature of this Bible. Not too small either, just the perfect size whilst also being incredibly comfortable and easy to read. Love the single column formatting and font size, also love the inclusion of Psalms and Proverbs. Cannot rate this Bible highly enough! Would love to see more translations in this size and styling

Although I use my Bible app most of the time, sometimes it’s nice to have a hard copy to carry around. The font is ok, and the binding seems sturdy.

Just perfect!

Quality production, compact size for bag or large jacket pocket. Extremely readable text and formatting. Enough space in the margins that if you write small with a mechanical pencil, you could keep some notes. Price is fair, not as incredible a bargain as Crossway’s tiny vest pocket NT, but certainly easier to read in this larger, “compact” format and portable enough too if you need something to travel with and have a bag or large pockets. Recommended!

This little New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs is absolutely what I have been looking for. The single column 8.5 point text is very easy on the eyes for a compact bible. I have ordered a different one before but it was almost unreadable due to the small text and double column page. This one did not cause eyestrain or discomfort. It's the perfect size for a medium handbag, tote bag or small rucksack. It would be great if a complete bible with or without apocrypha was printed in the same size with 8.5 point text. I would buy one immediately. I highly recommend this to anyone else who wants to carry the word with them as they go about their day. It's a blessing for sure and would make a lovely gift.

Favorite New Testament bible. I love the Trutone version more than the leather on because it feel smoother. The text is wonderfully presented. Highly recommend it!
