Ideal introduction to an excellent barefoot zero drop cross trainer, you may need thinner socks?
I brought these after checking out several reviews on youtube and yes these trainers are an excellent introduction with all the features mentioned by other reviewers at a reasonable price. They have particularly firm width which means for people with wider feet thinner socks are needed? I am giving 4 stars as i have not used other brands like it's main rival vivobarefoot to compare!

My husband’s favorite shoes — hands down!
I bought these Xero Crosstraining shoes for my husband when I first started getting into barefoot running and minimalist shoes. He was curious about them and wanted to try a pair for himself. He’s been wearing them for over a year now, mainly for hiking and casual wear, and he still says every single time he puts them on that they’re “the most comfortable shoes he’s ever worn.” He has always preferred shoes with a wide toe box (even before trying minimalist styles), so his feet didn’t require much adjustment. I’ve noticed that he actually stands up straighter in these — in his other shoes with even a small heel, he tended to lean forward a bit. For hiking, he used to wear heavy boots with thick soles and a higher heel, and he never tied them properly — the laces were always loose, which never made sense to me. But with these Xero shoes, he ties them snugly and loves the way he can feel the ground beneath his feet. The thinner sole provides him with better balance and a more secure connection to the trail. What’s even more impressive is how well they’ve held up. After a full year of use, they still look great. The soles aren’t worn down at all, and there are no signs of excessive wear or tear anywhere on the shoe. He genuinely enjoys wearing these shoes, and I can tell he’s not going back to traditional hiking boots anytime soon.

These shoes will (if you allow them to) change your way of moving for the better
I've been trying all kinds of different shoes for years--using them for sports of various kinds--but most specifically for running on the road (not trails). I had heard about "barefoot" style shoes, and their benefits, but wasn't sure about it. I've always had issues with back pain--especially if I go for longer runs. So I always thought that the answer was more cushioning. But what these shoes taught me was that the answer is NOT more cushioning, but less. Actually, almost NO cushioning is the answer. And it makes sense. The more your feet can feel themselves strike the ground, the more they can help the rest of your lower body adjust your stride and mechanics so that you're not putting unnecessary stress on your legs and back. The first time I wore these on a run (only 2 miles around some pavement), it went great. I noticed that I had to adjust my stride right away, to strike the ground more softly. But once I did that, it felt great. The next day, I felt muscles in my leg that I didn't even know I had! I could tell that I was recruiting a whole different set of muscles and tendons than I used to with really cushiony shoes. And that's helped strengthen my lower body much more effectively. The price of these shoes is well worth the benefit you get from working out in them.

Not the best training shoe
I'd say this shoe is better as a walker than a trainer. It really lacks side to side support. It's a classic minimalist style with nearly no cushioning, great flex, and no drop. It's true to size but because of the roomy forefoot you may even go down a half size from what you usually take. I'm a 12 in their sandal but otherwise I'm 12.5 or 13 in other brands. They do make some higher end shoes with more support if you want a cross trainer. So I then tried an Altra cross trainer next. I guess I'm a fan of this brand since I love their running shoe. Still zero drop, a small bit of cushioning, and way more lateral support. A bit smaller toebox than the Prio but still a generous cut. It does everything I need including a bit of running and some pickle ball work. Not a weight lifting shoe. But don't forget, Xero makes a better cross training shoe if you want a minimal cushioning shoe. 9/8/22 so I just bought a Xero Kelso in a 12 for use in pickleball. And it fit! So these do run large. Lots of side support in these. So I'm now wondering if my issues with the Prio were just due to their being too large
