I can't believe it took me so long to find this. I always make a big mess on my table when I'm repotting plants, even when I use boxes to help reduce it. This mat held everything in, and it was easy to clean up afterward. Once done, I was able to fold it back up the way it came, so it doesn't take up space. If you do anything with house plants inside, this is perfect. And you can't beat the price either.

I love this plant potting mat! It makes repotting and gardening projects so much easier and cleaner. The raised edges keep all the soil contained, and when I’m done, I can just fold it up and shake it out — no mess left behind. It’s lightweight but sturdy, easy to wipe clean, and folds up small enough to store in a drawer or tote bag. Perfect for indoor gardening, balcony planting, or anywhere you don’t want to deal with dirt all over the floor. Such a simple idea, but so useful — I have two different sizes and I wish I’d gotten one sooner!

I got tired of potting soil spilled & not able to be recovered, so when I saw this I had to try it! I have to say, I’m so happy I did! It fits BOTH my new seed starter trays with room to spare (Large) No more lost soil I can’t pick up off the ground or have to vacuum up! The snaps seem ok, should last a while. “Fabric” is like tarp material, seems like it will be super easy to clean after. Great value for such a simple but handy device. I see lots and lots of use in its future! Also, it can be a GREAT portable baby changing station! Since it folds down so compactly, it can easily fit in a diaper bag, large purse, or kept in the car for those “no clean/suitable” place to put your baby down for a changing” or just when visiting with someone it can be placed on their surface (bed, couch etc) with no worries of soiling the borrowed surface! (I had 5 babies, so I speak from lots of experience lol) I wish I had one of these when my kids were babies! Those tiny tri-fold mats that come with some diaper bags are never long enough! I’ve also thought of using this flat to sit on wet grass, sand, dirt etc or using it in my car under potting soil or other dirty items to protect my interior. So many uses! Looks like I’ll be buying more of them lol

This is even better than I anticipated. First, the size is perfect. As you can see from the first photo I had space to mix all of my soil. Second, it was so much easier to fill my trays. I used a gloved hand and filled the trays with no worries about the dirt falling out over the sides because the tray caught all the mess. It also made it much easier to get the proper amount of mix into each area of the trays. Third, it was a great way to reduce waste. As you can see in the second photo I was able to bag up unused soil without losing any. And finally, there is no mess on my potting surface and my tray folded up into a small flat square ready for my next potting experience. The pattern is super cute too! I researched so many of these and this one is amazing. It’s not thin, nor is it too thick. It was easy to handle and laid flat quickly. The snaps were perfect and not cheap. When I started my coir I actually had a challenge with lack of anbsorption and poked at it with the tool you see trying to break up the chunks that didn’t absorb any water. The point on the tool didn’t do any damage to my tray. It is a great item and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Oh, it saves tons of time when filling trays too! I am an experienced Gardner and can’t believe I didn’t already have one of these. SMH. Get it! You won’t regret it! Okay, hope this helps you decide. Time to go get potting! Which BTW should be fun and not a chore. This brings back the fun because I never enjoyed filling these tray and I have tons of them!

I bought this on a whim!! I really get tired of cleaning up the plant messes I make in my kitchen. Yeah, I know, I could find another place to repot a plant- but the kitchen counter is just the right height. For years, I’ve set newsprint down, large cookie sheets to contain my mess and detritus. Still ends up everywhere. When this clever little product arrived the other day- I put it to use immediately- repotting 3 succulents that outgrew their ceramic homes. Yes, on my kitchen counter!!! It snaps together quickly and easily. The side walls are high enough to contain spills of dirt and dead plant matter. I got the smallest size- as I have a small kitchen. It’s perfect size wise. So, I happily repotted my plants- making a mess inside the tray. Of course!!! But to my delight- I didn’t end up with dirt in the sink or on the floor or even on my shirt or shoes. Hooray!!! I put everything away and took this wonderful tray/mat outside and shook the mess into the side garden next to the porch and wiped the excess off. I then washed it in the kitchen sink, dried it off. I folded it up just the way it came to me and secured it with the Velcro strap it came with and tucked it in the drawer I use for small baking dishes. It takes up less room than instructions for an appliance. This is WONDERFUL!!! It is a genuine bargain. Price is great- the concept- put genius. I love great American gadgets- and have wasted money over the years!!! THIS is worth the money. Easy to use- stores easily and a great idea. You won’t be sorry if you are like me and can make messes as easily as I do. Now, if I could find something that can contain my messes when I am beading or using my glue gun!!

Pictured as shown and works wonderfully. I do not have the usual mess to clean up afterwards! Just let the mess slide into a waste receptacle , then wash, dry, and fold up-takes no real storage space and can be used for plants,crafts or whatever you can think of.

Its perfect, handy and works like a charm. Just unsnap the corners and dump the mess straight into the trash. Genius invention and it just folds up when ur done.

I haven’t used it yet, but have set it up. Super easy and I already know without trying it, this is gonna make my life much easier. Perfect for planting a single plant or multiple seedlings!
