Garnier Ambre Solaire Sun Cream SPF 50+ Sensitive Advanced Serum for Face and Body, Suncreen Factor 50+, UVA & UVB Protect, Suitable for Sensitive Skin, with Ceramide, Water Resistant, 125ml

This Sunscreen is now my favourite on the market. I love the fact this sunscreen is sting free, which is soo hard to find in sunscreen. This is the first sunscreen I’ve tried that doesn’t sting my eyes after wasting soo much money on Sunscreen; I’m more likely to reapply because of this. Make sure to shake well before use by covering the tip Of the opening to avoid spillage. The consistency of the product is a light-weight, slightly runny cream but it’s not a serum. The feel on this on my combinations skin is very light-weight and non-greasy, it doesn’t feel greasy at all and blends in within 30 seconds. I have deeply pigmented dark brown skin (type VI-West-African), and it has no white-cast whatsoever. The Smell of the product is neutral. The quantity and the price is fine, I only use the product on my face, as I like thicker, even more inexpensive, sunscreens for the rest of my body like the “Garnier amber solair” this way, it last even longer.

I have purchased this product many times, in person and on amazon as I absolutely love this sunscreen. I use it on my face and body and it really does stop my skin from burning when I’m out and about in hot weather. I love that it is lightweight and absorbs fast. If you’re looking to have matte skin when using this, I would say that you will not get this result. This sunscreen gives off a ‘satin’ finish on your skin. I would also say that this sunscreen isn’t greasy when you first apply it, however, when reapplying, it does get a little ‘oily’ looking so if you have oily skin, I would probably stay away from this! White cast: I do not get a white cast from this. My skin tone fits into the Fitzpatrick scale III. Pilling: I have not experienced pilling with this sunscreen. Overall, I would recommend this sunscreen if you do not have oily skin and don’t mind the ‘satin’ finish which turns oily after a few hours. :-)

I use this for skiing. I really like the consistency, it is unnoticeable on the skin and provides high protection all day. The large size goes a long way.

This is a godsend spf for someone who has very dry pale skin, but if you have oilier darker skin I wouldn’t recommend it. It can be a bit sticky so it’s great for under makeup but can leave a slight white cast which is unnoticeable as I’m very pale and it is quite oily which is great for me as I have dry scaly patches but could be an issue for combination/oily skin.

pros: Great texture, sinks in and suits my combo skin - perhaps slightly rich for very oily skins. Regardless, it is weightless on the skin. No fragrance, Long UVA also (and 4 star UVA protection!) Works just as well on the body as face so extremely economical. Does not sting eyes at all. Also ceramides are all the rage and this is packed with them to restore/strengthen your skin barrier! Love the precision applicator too. This is my new holy grail cons: isn't as much of a serum as I thought, more of a lotion/milk? But does sink in to the body skin easily but doesn't sink in to my face as easily, but still better than most. It is just slightly misleading as it is labelled a serum but don't be alarmed! I would still buy this and it is one of my holy grail SPFs!! Well done Garnier.

I love this! This is the only sunscreen I’ll use from now on. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this does not break me out. Most sunscreens burn my eyes, but this one doesn’t. It is very moisturizing and does not leave ANY white cast on darker toned skin.

Very good sun protection non greasy

I love this serum. It absorbs really well into my skin and doesn’t leave a white caste at all. I use it under make up as I was told by my dermatologist that I needed to protect my skin every day, even in winter months. You get a good amount and it lasts quite a long time so I feel it is also good value for money. Happy to recommend this.
