i love eating crawfish étouffée. This base mix makes a great tasting étouffée. All you need is to add crawfish. Fresh crawfish tails with fat are the best. Frozen can be used , but try to get crawfish tails from Louisiana since the usually have a better taste and usually have some fat with the tails. The fat gives the mix little nice taste. It only takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare from start to eating. Other things can be added such as chicken or shrimp. I fully recommend this for the ease of preparing and the taste.

Tastes like New Orleans. I added extra shrimp or scallops. Yum

Good but had to add a little this and a little that. It’s a keeper 😋

Nummy nummy nummy! I melted the copious tablespoons of butter, added green pepper, onion, and celery (the HOLY Trinity!) to the pan to soften, before I added the mix (come on! Seasoned dry roux!) and chicken broth. Once cooking well, I added 1 lb crawfish rails and 1 lb of sliced andouille sausage! C'est Bon!
