Had no problem getting these to program at my key smith company. They turned out to not be the same as my factory fob but no issues other than a couple buttons that don’t work. Worth the money and compatible with my Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I was able to program this for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited and it was very easy after following directions I read online. First you need OBDlink MX+ and buy/download Alphaobd software from app store on your phone. 1. With an existing key put the car into run mode, connect obdlink and follow the instructions to connect it to the alphaobd app on your device. 2. select your vehicle, select radiofrequency hub and select your appropriate model year and press connect. 3. press the little icon in the lower right that looks like a car with the hood up. 4. select read pin at the bottom. Allow it to read your car's pin. 5. now turn your car off and select program fobik. you may want to pass the existing key to a helper out the open car window so the car does not get confused. 6. follow the instructions to press the unlock button. My car responded after a few pushes and all functions including car start worked perfectly. So awesome! I did spend money for obdlink but I can use that for any car in the future and this saved me both money and time from having to go to the dealer. I cant believe these keys were so cheap and worked perfectly. My wife lost one of our keys and I was bumming, now I'm very happy.

I purchased 2 new FOBs to replace OEM Jeep FOBs for My 2017 Grand Cherokee. They have Lock/unlock, remote start, auto rear hatch, and panic. I ordered a ODBC programmer from Tom's Keys, ($70) and programmed them myself. Dealer wanted $175 each FOB, and $250 For programming. It cost me $4 each for the removable keys to be cut. So I spent $178, in all programmed 2 FOBs myself in 15 minutes and saved $422 in total. Youtube had instructions provided by Tom's and they sell the FOBs too, however Amazon was more value for the $$!

I lost my Key Fob and thought I could replace it, I was wrong. Key FOBS are not all the same, they require a certain programmable code that does not simply come with the FOB. Despite the claims of the product manufacturer this is NEVER THE CASE. After trying and failing to get the FOB programmed, I realized this was a terrible waste of effort and money. On my scale of 1to5 I rate this a -1 and chalk this product up as an unfortunate misadventure into key fob land. If your into Indiana Jones styled, Key Fob torture then this product is a bullseye, otherwise steer clear of the pretentious pretender.

I purchased this key fob replacement for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude Overland, and it worked exactly as intended. I took it to my dealer to program and cut the blade, and everything went smoothly. The key functions perfectly with my vehicle, just as the original would. One slight note: I did receive a notice indicating that the battery on the key fob is low shortly after receiving it. However, considering the cost savings—$35 for two key fobs compared to $260 per fob from the dealer—having to replace a battery is a minor inconvenience. This is an incredible deal and absolutely worth it! Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a cost-effective key fob replacement!

Bought these for 2021 Grand Cherokee. Had them programmed. They work to open doors and allows driving but SUV doe snot immediately recognize like the native FOBs. COuld be a programming issue. Sometimes have to press a button before the FOB is recobgnized by the vehicle. Beats paying hundereds of dollars a piece.

Worked great with the Universal EZ Installer ODB programmer. Did not work with the blue programmer that is listed under many names. Be sure to check compatibility with your car and whatever programmer you decide to get. With these blades any hardware store can duplicate the keys.
