Great for techie hobby projects.
The refresh rate is a smidgen slow so there are times when I get ghosting but these can take some wear and tear. Im not making full use of the extra color so unless you have a real practical use id go with the straight up b&w version. Came packed well with instalation instructions and some supports for a raspberry pi installation. I recommend you add some bumpers on the edge of them since the display more or less free floats and there is risk of scratchesto the circuitboard. All in great value.

The refresh rate is agonizingly slow, but that's no secret with eInk. Know what you're getting.
Works as expected.

It works, it's easy on the eye, but there are important limitations
It works. The resolution isn't is good enough for a few short lines of text, a QR code, or a simple logo, and e-ink is certainly pleasing to the eye. It's the same size as a RaspberryPi Zero, and the two pair up beautifully (see last photo). Screen refresh is *slow* and ugly. (See video.) This makes the device unsuitable for applications where updates are likely to be seen. The monochrome version is better in this respect. It allows quick, imperfect updates, but the two-colour version needs a full refresh every time. The display has to be cleared every few days, to avoid burn in. The manufacturer's instructions were very unhelpful. The easiest way to get it running is to connect it to a Raspberry Pi, make sure the SPI interface is turned on (sudo raspi-config), download the Python demo code, run it and check the error messages to see what else you need to install to make it work. This display might work well as a radio controlled pricetag on a supermarket shelf. But as an electronics hobbyist, I don't think I will find much use for it.

More docs
Needs more documentation. Plus it should be easy to understand and use.

Normal

Also musste ich ihn extra ablöten.
