I measured across the front from the outside edges of the rubber feet. 26 1/2” From front to back at the outside edge of the rubber feet 16 1/2” The toilet paper holder with toilet paper will fall inside the 26 1/2” Hope this works for you. This is a really nice piece of equipment.

Yes it is better, then the raised hard plastic toilet seat. Definitely more comfortable.

Yes, it is more expensive but it is worth it. I like it because it does not wiggle like the ones that are stationary and it is easier to clean. I had one that sit right on the toilet and I had difficulty cleaning it.
