Installed in my garage . Clears the air well . My HOA insists we leave our garbage pail in the garage . This unit totally removes that odor , which is a surprise bonus . I have a wood shop in my garage and I purchased it to clear the air of excess dust. It does a great job of doing that . On high speed, it’s a little loud. That would be my only criticism. Highly recommend this

A little loud but does a great job of clearing up the wood shop. Very easy to install with two different options to mount, did require a second person to assist mounting it.

I tried to install the unit using both the methods as instructed. Unit is not safe to hang. 1. Hanging rings provided are lot thinner than key chain rings. The minute I hanged the unit, rings started sagging and began to open. Fortunately to casualty. I am sharing the picture of sagged rings and key chain ring for comparison. 2. Bracket hardware provided is not matching with hole pattern. One of the bracket is short. It is not seating properly. 3. I ended up drilling several holes in ceiling ( 4 holes for each method of installation) 4. I ended up paying 100$ for handyman and not able to install due to hardware issues.

Very good unit well worth the money

I was expecting this to be amazing as the advertisements state but, I think either the standard filters are just bad or this really doesn't suck up much as it advertises. I can turn this on and use my sander. Keep in mind I have a dust vacuum connector so most dust is sucked up, I still get fine dust floating you can see. Running the intake system for over two hours and the air was STILL hazy. Mounting hardware is decent EXCEPT the key ring style loops that hold the chain. Just like other reviews, these loops are incredibly weak and want to unravel. I'm currently looking to replace them or might just return this entire device. Noise is also an HUGE issue. I know I'm mounting this in a shop but, man, this competes with my shop vac and table saw combined! Using this on either low or high is crazy loud. My over ear headphones + ear plugs are needed. I figured running this while in the shop wouldn't be too horrible but.. ouch my ears. If you're going to purchase. Don't use the chair loops. Don't expect this to be quiet. Hope you've got a tall ceiling so you don't have to hear this device.

Cleans the air well but the sound is pretty awful. I use this in a professional woodshop placed above an industrial dust collector to help keep the fine dust in check. I have other ambient air filters in my shop made by other companies. The frequency of this one is quite high pitched in comparison. Makes me not want to use it as often - which is problematic.
