The original remote control had lasted over 10 years. This one looks as though it will last as long. Functionally identical.

I got the remote for my elderly brother.He was very pleased with it☺.Now he can watch all his programs.

Don;t know if it's my TV , but sometimes the remote seems to stall and I have to maneuver side side to side or back down...that is the reason for just 3 stars. Fast delivery and well packaged are the positives.

When my remote stopped working, I thought I would look around for a replacement. After reading the reviews I opted for this unit and it works perfectly. It has actually been better than the one i had with the tv which only lasted a few months.Perhaps I should have had it replaced under warranty but I really could be bothered with the hassle. Buttons very responsive and to date I have had no problems.
