This is a great security device, looks discrete and with the shutter feature privacy does not feel compromised.

Somfy Protect (MyFox) Customer Services have just confirmed to me that if you were to use the Somfy one as your Alarm System hub and an intruder enters your property, they can unplug the Somfy One and the alarm turns off and the whole alarm system fails. This feels like a massive concern for a security system that can be cancelled by an intruder.

Works, but not that intuitive during setup. Integration with Google is OK, but nowhere near as good as other devices such as Smart Sockets, Philips Hue, etc.

Best ever camera highly rate

Love the concept, great un-boxing experience, easy to set-up and connect to wifi and other Somfy devices. Then intermittent alarms being set-off because the Somfy One was being moved...watching the camera feed live it was clearly still sitting on the fireplace with no movement. I want to adopt the system but returned as getting fed-up with alarms being sounded and being woken-up on holiday to find the Somfy One thinking it was going off for a walk.

I considered many products, and tried a few of them out, and this came top of the list. It is easy to install, easy to add tags etc. You can set it to alarm straight away on motion detection or tampering on the doors windows with the tags or set it to start at various time intervals. It is more than a typical alarm system due to the camera capture with reasonable free access to video clips. Love the panic mode setting, and that you can add people to the device. I am considering getting one for my moms house. The best bit is that the camera switches off when you are in the house. If I was too be picky I would say the video footage could be 4k, but compared to other wireless products, this device and its tags come top. Also, it is worth googling the device and getting it direct from them, as they offer 5% off.

I've waited a few weeks to review this camera because I had mixed feelings about it from the set-up stage. After 2 weeks I actually dislike it even more than when I attempted to set it up. The set-up process sounds so simple. It wasn't for me. It took me about two hours of going round in circles with trying to get it to connect (I tried about a dozen times) and doing software updates. I almost gave up. Eventually it seemed to work okay and the image quality on the App was good. The App itself isn't easy to navigate either, I struggled to find where to deactivate the siren as it keeps going off while I'm trying to test the best place to put the camera and it's absolutely deafening and very piercing (great if you've had a break-in but awful if you're just trying to test it). In the end I pulled the power lead out of the back of the unit to stop the noise, but it just comes back on as soon as I plug it back in, but doesn't seem to be taking commands from the App to stop the siren. While it's undoubtably a very nice quality camera, I don't like it nearly as much as my Arlo outdoor wireless system which has a far clearer App and all the HD video clips for the last 7 days included in the purchase price. Disappointingly expensive and not without glitches and annoyances. 3 stars.

Es wird leider wöchentlich in unserer Gemeinde eingebrochen. Bei längerer Abwesenheit beschlich mich öfter ein ungutes Gefühl. War erst ein wenig skeptisch bei der SOMFY, allerdings war ich auch sehr interessiert. Also wurde bestellt. Lieferung ruckzuck. Die Verpackung der SOMFY würde ich als sehr hochwertig bezeichnen. Da ich ein Installations Nerd bin, habe ich die SOMFY gemeinsam mit meiner Frau eingerichtet. Kleiner Tip am Rande: WLAN Schlüssel bereitlegen. Die Installation ging recht flott, keine Probleme. Schlüssel anlernen ebenfalls einfach. Kann jetzt per App auf die SOMFY zugreifen und von unterwegs einen Blick in den überwachten Bereich werfen. Mir ist klar, dass ich damit keinen Einbruch verhindern kann. Allerdings informiert mich die SOMFY, sobald sich während meiner Abwesenheit jemand in der Wohnung befindet. Der zu erwartende Alarmton würde meine Nachbarn ebenfalls informieren. Allein das finde ich schon beruhigend.

Leider kann ich anderen Bewertungen nicht folgen. Sowohl die Installation der Basis (Somfy ONE +) als auch die Anbindung weiterer Peripheriegeräte (IntelliTag, Bewegungssensor, KeyFob) haben problemlos funktioniert. Im Alltag zeigen sich keinerlei Schwierigkeiten; das System ist extrem zuverlässig (sowohl die Basis als auch die Peripheriegeräte). Besonders praktisch ist das bereits integrierte GeoFencing als auch die automatische Deaktivierung mit KeyFob und IntelliTag.

Seit zwei Monate im Einsatz und immer noch sehr zufrieden.

Installation et prise en main très simple, très stable contrairement à d'autres caméras. L'abonnement n'est pas nécessaire mais on peut s'abonner juste un mois par exemple pour 14,99€ ce qui permet d'avoir un vrai système de télésurveillance. La qualité vidéo est très bonne. Les + : Système tout-en-un ne nécessitant pas d'abonnement, très bonne qualité vidéo, haut-parleur et micro présents Les - : Pas d'autonomie ne serait-ce que de quelques minutes en cas de coupure de courant, dépendant du Wi-Fi
