Farnam Leather New Foam Easy Polishing Saddle Soap Foam 7 Ounces

So, this works! I had forgotten the chairs were even white leather. My mom has two Ekornes leather chairs, and they were never cleaned for the last 15 years. We're talking dogs and cats and everything else, too. The leather has bad spots in it now, scratches, but the leather itself is still intact. That is, there are no tears or spots worn through. I wanted to make sure they last longer than my mom, who is now concluding her life at 92 with memory loss. She really loves them, I don't, and so I don't want to replace them if possible. Also, they were $1200.00 each. Now the same chair is $1600.00! We have two of them. So, anyway, uh, this is not a wipe on wipe off process for these chairs. You can see how dirty they are in the pictures. I've done a little at a time and I've been at it a hour each night for 3 days now. For those who want to clean a mildly dirty smooth leather couch, or car seats, it will work well just using a nice cloth and rubbing it on and massaging it in, then wiping it off. If you stay on it, you'll never have to go through what I am having to go through in order to clean your leather. Anyway, this was the process I used: 1. Clean the part you are working on with a damp cloth, just water. Really scrub it. Rinse the cloth out. (I used microfiber cloths.) 2. The instructions say use a dry cloth. I used a damp cloth. 3. I put the foam directly on the area I was cleaning in 3-4 large blobs. 4. Using a softer type fingernail brush, I moved the foam all over the area I was working with, and just kept going over it with a firm but light touch. 5. It didn't look like it was doing anything, but I just kept at it. 6. After about 5 minutes, it started to work and the dirt just started really coming off. 7. Don't scrub, just use firm circular motions in the beginning to loosen the dirt. Keep working it in and let the foam saturate and penetrate the dirt. 8. After the foam is dirty, I wiped off the dirty foam and rinsed out the brush and rag. 9. Repeated until clean. It wasn't really physically hard, either, but I had to just keep at it. It really works, but to do the entire chair front and back, and the stools, I'll need approximately at least 3 bottles and most likely 4.

This works the same as the Ecco shoe cleaner which I have previously used and works just the same. I definitely recommend it!

Just make sure to use a rag/cloth while using cause strips dirt off leather exceptionally well! Love this stuff also softens. I use it on horse take, shoes etc. Anything and everything!!!
