My teen daughter has a 2016 Hyundai Elantra, think base model maybe the one above that. I didn't realize this cover easily coming off on Hyundais was a thing, until I had to search for the replacement. Firstly, if you are a new Hyundai owner, I'd recommend avoiding automatic car washes. But, if you're here reading this, it's probably too late. Two, if you are looking for this part, be sure you measure and look closely at the inside of your antenna. There's several different variations for them apparently. The type in our vehicle, that square-computer chip thing in the middle is twisted so it looks more like a diamond shape. Most of the parts I've seen have it look like a square shape. Some have another square above that, and some have a space for a gps tracker which is a big green tail type thing sticking out of the bottom. The part number for the one I needed, the diamond type shape, is 96210-3x100. And, it's about impossible to find, unless you buy the whole antenna assembly which is what the part number is for I realized, and I've seen anywhere for 80.-200.+ dollars. And, to do that, you need to remove the headliner, and replace the whole antenna assembly from inside the vehicle. And I really don't want to spend that much money for just the plastic piece on the outside that is very likely to fly off again at some point in time. Sorry for the novel, just trying to help out anyone in the same boat. With a really rainy week coming up, I went ahead and ordered this one. Dimensions seemed to fit and I was hoping I could modify it a bit to make it work. I gut the inside. I cut out the screw parts, which I kind of regretted after the fact. So be sure to check the screw parts on your vehicle. They will break off differently and may work out ok for your situation. I ended up having to cut the ones on the vehicle as well to get the cover to fit on more secure. Both easily cut off with small wire cutters I had. I then used some JB Weld to secure it to the car. The fin cover itself looks fine. The JB Weld was an absolute mess, and you can see how messy it is all over the cover. My daughter was ticked, told her oh well do it yourself next time and do better :) It should scrape off with a razor blade. It's been a couple weeks now, and it's staying on and secured. But it isn't seated completely, when I pushed it down while waiting for the weld to cure, one side would pop up a bit. So my next step is to try some black flex seal tape to hopefully fill in the small gap on the side and further secure it and protect it from the elements. So overall, this worked fine for me. None of the issues I've experienced were due to this part here. I'd recommend it, you can probably make it work, just may have to get creative with it.

Does not fit, finally got around to install. Will not fit on 2015 Subaru Forester. It says it will. Do not buy if you own a Subaru Forester.

It arrived promptly & in good condition, then we went into deep freeze weather so I could not try to install it until today and missed the return deadline - which was today. Know that it is a very light blue color. It is wide enough but an inch too short to fit the antenna on my 2017 Ford Edge. When I reorder I will also purchase some adhesive, this comes with a few, very thin, double sided foam tape pieces cut to fit the cover.

Amazon says this will fit my car. Can’t return it now since I repainted to match my car all to find out it’s too small. So check before u buy.

It worked perfectly the sealing I used had to sit and dry but it worked and the shark fit and im happy

Does not fit a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT. Oddly, the plastic cover ripped off during a drive thru car wash. The antenna functions normally, no problems. But, being exposed may eventually cause problems. I needed a cover only option. This one does not fit over the existing footprint so I had to modify it a little and use a butt load of glue. I took the rubber seal off, unscrewed the three screws to release the plastic base piece, reinstalled the rubber gasket and placed it as best I could over the existing antenna. Glue, glue, and more glue. Took it on a test drive up to 60 MPH, checked it, it was still in place and had not budged. Not sure how long this will last but I’ll take what I can get for $9.99. Why don’t car companies make the plastic covers for these things? Looks a little messy as the glue dries, but it will clean up later.

Compré esta cubierta de antena porque quería mejorar un poco la apariencia de mi vehículo sin gastar demasiado ni hacer modificaciones complicadas, y en general me dejó una buena impresión. La instalación fue bastante sencilla. Solo tuve que limpiar bien la superficie, retirar el adhesivo y colocarla sobre la antena original. En pocos minutos ya estaba instalada y no necesité herramientas especiales. En cuanto al diseño, sí hace que el carro se vea un poco más moderno, especialmente si antes tenías una antena más simple o visualmente menos atractiva. El acabado combina bastante bien con el techo del vehículo y desde cierta distancia parece una pieza original. Algo que me preocupaba era si afectaría la señal de radio, pero en mi caso no noté cambios importantes en la recepción normal. Claro, eso puede variar dependiendo del vehículo y del tipo de antena original. Lo positivo: -Instalación rápida y sencilla -Mejora la apariencia del vehículo -No requiere modificaciones -Buena opción económica para personalizar Lo menos positivo: -Debes verificar que el tamaño sea compatible con tu vehículo -El adhesivo debe colocarse bien para evitar que se despegue con el tiempo En resumen, si buscas un cambio visual rápido y económico para tu carro, me pareció una compra bastante buena. No es algo necesario, pero sí le da un toque más moderno sin complicarte demasiado.

Really happy with it, for my Subaru Impreza hatch 2012, the blue is just slightly lighter than on the picture, would only be noticeable if ur car is really dark blue. It did fit the antenna but you need to tuck the wire to the side to make sure it fits down in the roof, the adhesive stickers are very strong and overtime they basically become glued to the car. Radio does work too and sounds perfect.

It does nothing to to your car 1) It’s adhesive becomes weak over time and the paint quality is worse as over period of time, the paint fades into discolouration 2) This is not functional, even though the wire gets connected to the antenna, it fails to catch signals and in parking all you hear is buzzing 3) This is something only one should buy if he doesn’t use radio or any connection that needs signals, because it’s just a show piece to attach on the car
