will this work with a roku ultra that streams dolby digital plus?

it doesn't support dolby digital plus what is 7.1Ch

Is the subwoofer channel full range or is there a crossover on the output?

The unit outputs subwoofer only frequencies. However, the output is low in volume. With mine i use preamps on all the outputs and the on to the amplifiers.
