I have recently upgraded to this headunit and it has been well worth it! I now use all my favourite Carplay apps like Spotify and Waze, even on the shortest of trips due to the ease of the wireless feature. This also saves having cables all over the dash of my car!The speed everything syncs up is amazing. It is super easy and quick to change between settings and features (specially whilst driving), allowing you to revert back to DAB if desired. The audio quality is also extremely crisp and clear and works extremely well with my upgraded audio and Kenwood underseat sub!Great upgrade and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to add DAB or Carplay to the car.

Been searching for an affordable high speced headunit for quite a while now and decided to opt for the Kenwood DMX7722DABS and its a fantastic bit of kit with a crisp clear screen with fantastic sound when coupled with the Kewood door speakers and underseat sub it all delivers a clear impressive sound. Packed with features my favoritebeing the Apple/Android car play I simply get In the car and have instant connectivity to all my music, apps and calls it is also very easy to use!Has an oem factory plus feel with beautiful build quality makes this headunit a joy to use and U couldn't be happier.I Highly recommended this headuni nothing compares at this price range top work Kenwood!!

I did quite a bit of research when looking for a new stereo to fit in our Nissan Elgrand, this Kenwood 7722DABS was the one I decided to buy as it as functions such as DAB, Android Auto and the fact I can connect two phones to it, I had it professionally installed because the Elgrand is an import and a bit complicated to install new head units in.Once fitted I found it easy to navigate the screen, connected both mine and the wife's phones, I am not going into everything this does as you can just read that in the products information above.So are there any negatives? at first I thought I had a rather big negative and that was I could only pick up one radio station in both standard and DAB, it would in DAB list pick up loads of stations but all displayed "waiting" except one station and that kept cutting out.I contacted the installers and they had no idea why it was not picking up DAB, I had a Kenwood DAB antenna fitted so it should all be ok, I contacted Kenwood who I have to say where very helpful, they said it was very unlikely to be the unit as both radio and DAB are separate within the unit, they did say that they would happily replace it, but I decided not to do that until I had made a few more enquiries.So to cut a long story short the radio is probably down to the factory fit antenna, the DAB on the other hand was down to my dash cam which sends out some kind of signal that interferes with the DAB reception, unplug it and I can pick up all the stations, the solution was to fit a ferrite cable cap which stops the interference, so if you get the same and have a sat nav try unplugging it to see if it makes a difference.

Love the ease of use, the colours, the instant response time, and the display fits in really well with the rest of my interior which is something I'm always concerned about with aftermarket head units. Wireless CarPlay is seamless.. so much easier than USB(!) although you do still have that option with this unit. I use Google Maps a lot and for me, having an older car made this a faff before using my phone and cradle but now Maps just boots up nice and easy on the big screen! The audio is fantastic too, it's really clear with no muffled sounds. I can't fault this product at all! I think it's great, well worth the money for quality and convenience.

When there is any ambient light. The screen is really difficult to see.I replaced it with a Pioneer. And it’s much better. It even sounds better.

This is my first CarPlay system and its mega. The unit is very swift and very user friendly. I love having the big screen to help with the navigation. The wireless connectivity also means less cables around the dashboard which is a huge bonus. The option to see your contact on the screen is also great just in case you do need to make that important call on the move. The connection to apps like Spotify are instant and helps to get the tunes up and running straight away.The sound quality is very crisp and it was very easy to connect it up to my other other Kenwood speaker products. After a little bit of tweaking with the EQs I got the sound exactly where I wanted it.Overall I'm chuffed and this will make driving the wagon all that bit better.Super fast delivery from CarAudioSecurity too. doesn't come with a dab antennacomes with a GPS and microphoneThings to note if you are going to install into a yaris hybrid 2019- you will need a camera retaining harness - 12v to 6v- if you are using the connects.2 steering wheel control - connect key 1 to the light blue with yellow stripe (this was sending me crazy - thinking the connect 2 was bad - dont forget you only need the purple wire in the connect 2 harness)- for the camera harness - it will come with two wires - black to ground and red(brown) to 12volt red- you need a harness for the antenna and dont forget to connect the power to the antenna -blue with white stripe)- you can get a retainer cable to reuse the original usbyaris 2019 doesnt have an aux you can add this- reverse wire on connect 2 to reverse wire on headunit to trigger camera- green ground - connect this to the screw on the back unit to be able to use all functions at all times7255-001, 771300-1031, CAM-TY5-RT, SCTYRT5 is the part for the camera retaining harnessconnect.2 with old version of the 3.5mm jack is what i orderedHappy tinkering and dont pay 70£ to get this installed - do it once and you can essentially do it on most other cars - what makes this easy is the head unit harness is iso plug female so if you buy a harness you just push in and it will work
