Amp I great! We added additional speakers to the bed of our 2023 Jeep Gladiator and needed more power. No issues so far with any of the DS18 products we have bought and installed. Great quality!

Installed this amp to 4 ds18 high power 6.5 coax speakers. Used 4ga power/grnd wires and 12ga to speakers. Mounted amp on 1/2” standoffs to help keep air around all sides and stays cool. No clipping so it should last. Only been 2 weeks but no complaints. Amp barely gets warm. Some bad reviews could be just because of incorrect installation? No issues at all.

Good amp. Fits hidden in the stock location for Honda Element. Front passenger kickwell. Good for moderate upgrade from factory speakers.

I have just installed this amp to power some ds18 pro st tweeters. I had to replace my amp that was powering my tweeters because it had a horrible hissing noise and this amp fixed my issue. There is a ball bearing fan inside the amp that is not temperature controlled, so its either on when you start your car or off. It is pretty loud I have it in the hatcback of my subaru on my sub box and its pretty loud when no music is playing. I'm going to replace the internal fan with a noctua 40x40x10 fan and the sound probably won't be noticeable at all.

insane heat from mild use. wired this thing up super pro with plenty of power (4ga ofc) less than 2ft from my agm battery running 2x 80w 4ohm speakers parallel creating a 2ohm load at 160watts that's 12.64v @1khz ac per channel from the speaker output at 75% flat volume from the head unit. plug in my speakers and the amp gets soo hot and goes into prot mode.. uninstall/return overrated pos amp
