Since replacing a camera lens is far more expensive than buying a UV filter, I decided to get this one—and it was the best decision! The filter fits perfectly on my Sony DSLR lens and provides great protection against dust, dirt, and scratches. It also helps reduce haze in bright outdoor conditions, and best of all, it doesn’t affect image quality—my photos remain sharp and clear. Great value, I recently bought a new camera lens and always fit lenses with a protection filter to stop the front lens from being touched. This Amazon Basics filter is great value when compared to other photography specific brands and I can't any difference in the quality.

These UV filters are great for lens protection. I bought 2 for my Olympus lenses but later realised the smaller lens was 52mm as opposed to 58mm so ordered another to suit.

Good UV filter, works as intended. I use it easily as a lens cap to protect the lens, does not interfere with colours or image quality. Bargain.

Good value

Amazon has done a reasonable good job in packaging this product. It arrives in a basic card box with no frills, and totally recyclable. The lens arrives in a plastic protection box that looks like it can be used for a variety of lens cover sizes. This is a 58mm lens which I am using on a m.zuiko 40-150mm lens. Lens protector is clear and for my level of photography meets my needs. It does not impede fitting the lens cover over it or putting a lens hood on. Screws on perfectly. I’ve taken a few indoor shots with and without it and I see no distortion between the two. This helps in trying to keep to a budget and protects my equipment, while still taking good shots. Nice new addition to my bag. I understand that UV filters cover both UV-A & B

Il motivo principale per cui l'ho preso è proteggere la lente frontale dell'obiettivo da polvere, dita, spruzzi d'acqua e da graffi o urti accidentali. Preferisco di gran lunga rischiare di rigare un filtro economico rispetto alla lente di un obiettivo costoso. La qualità del vetro sembra buona ma non eccezionale. Non ho riscontrato alcuna perdita di nitidezza nei dettagli o alterazione dei colori. Riduce la componente ultravioletta ma qualche effetto della luce è rimasto. L'anello è realizzato in metallo (alluminio) ed è molto sottile (profilo slim), il che evita il fastidioso effetto vignettatura anche quando si scatta a focali grandangolari. Il filetto è preciso: si avvita fluidamente sull'obiettivo e permette a sua volta di agganciare senza problemi il copriobiettivo originale o un paraluce. Si pulisce molto facilmente con un panno in microfibra. Se cercate una protezione trasparente, efficace ed economica per le vostre lenti da 67 mm, questo filtro è la scelta ideale.
