Buy the honey and lemon ones instead. These ones cause diarrhoea. So who at the company of cough sweets is thinking... those people,. who are coughing a lot? Yeah, let's give them the runs... I haven't had any incidents yet... But the last thing you want while you're coughing a lot, is to not be able to trust a fart. Seriously, do not buy this. Do not buy any cough sweet that causes diarrhoea. The effectiveness is also questionable... the coughing briefly subsides while the sweet is in your mouth, but when you're done with it the coughing quickly returns. I spoke to my doctor and she said quite simply, these are just sweets, they're not effective medicine. Sure, they work quickly... but they do not last long at all. Honestly, your best bet is to just take a paracetamol instead, drink some yorkshire tea with honey in it. And enjoy not having diarrhoea to go with your cough.

I’ll start off by talking about the actual point of the product itself.. which is to soothe a sore throat. They melt really quickly so the relief was minimal, as soon as the sweet was gone my throat felt more painful than it was to begin with. But that’s not the worst of it, I only ate 3 over the course of the day and by 8pm my belly was grumbling so loud I’m pretty sure my neighbours could hear it. Then the diarrhoea started, then the intense headache came on. It says on the box not to take anymore than 12 in a day, 12!!! I took 3 and crapped myself! 😖 I dread to think what would’ve happened if I’d of had 12. Honestly just pay the extra money for the normal ones.

I normally buy the lemon and honey one and thought I will try the sugar free one. The taste is very artificial and I could not even finished one. In the bin.

I don't know how anyone could keep this in there mouth for a long time, once you get the initial strawberry taste it hits you with the most disgusting chemical taste. Spat mine out within seconds as couldn't stand it. I wouldn't bother with them, such a shame. A case of great idea, poor development.

These yukky artificially flavoured 'strawberry' Strepsils lozenges left a nasty taste in my mouth. Though sugar-free which were originally bought for my husband's sore throat, he hates them as much as I do. They got binned.

arrived open. tasted like strawberry at first then tasted horrible. didn't help my sore throat just made my mouth dry and sting as the lozenge was spicy. my throat is still sore and scratchy. all these did was make it worse. can recommend the blue ones however

Don’t know if I got a duff pack but zero feel of soothing throat - zero antiseptic type taste they just tasted like strawberry sweets & did nothing !!!

Waste of money... Doesn't affect a cough in ANYWAY. You would be better off sucking a wotsit.
