We had a new kitchen fitted but really didn't want to shell out £££ for a cupboard bin, we just thought we would pop along to Ikea and get one of theirs - which annoyingly was fantastic but the base was too bulky to fit my 300mm cupboard, I ended up ordering numerous bin frames, also all too wide! Then I came across this Simplehuman, not as expensive as other bin systems and with free returns so nothing to lose - I couldn't believe it when it arrived and fit perfectly into the space! The bin is easy to remove, hold loads, is really well made and glides in and out super smoothly. I did receive free liners which do fit perfectly, but I'm sure most liners would fit just fine. It doesn't come with a lid which may be a problem for some people, especially if you want it for food waste, we only use it for recycling so we moved the shelf up to store liners, etc and that acts as a lid. After having a scruffy old bin in my lovely new kitchen for weeks I am absolutely thrilled with this Simplehuman one, and I would confidently say it will fit any 300mm cupboard (external) with a standard size door hinge, and even though I initially thought it was still a bit expensive, I can honestly say its worth every penny!

Just what we needed as no room to have a freestanding bin in the kitchen , was worried about no lid but have fitted inside a cupboard , and placed shelf above , also hung a car air freshener in the cupboard , the cupboard I have fitted it inside is 500mm wide . The screws it comes with are really hard to get in as quite big , will need a power screwdriver or a strong arm 💪🏻 and I started with a smaller screw just to make a pilot hole so easier to install . I also recommend buying the bin liners as they fit perfect and are very strong , it does come with a trial pack of 10 . Very pleased I bought it , worth the price and well made and glides easily , and I like the fact my rubbish bin is hidden away .

Fantastic bin ! I was getting so fed up of having a bin in my small kitchen and have wanted a bin in my cupboard for ages , decided on this due to the good reviews although I thought it was a bit expensive… however it’s worth every penny , hubby fitted this within 5 mins no hassle , it fits perfect and I still have some room in the cupboard to store other things, I have put the shelf in just above mine to use as a type of lid , this bin is really well made and sturdy, also great capacity .. I would highly recommend this , great for small kitchens or for anyone who doesn’t want bin on show in the kitchen. My daughters cat is always trying to get in her bin so she has to hide in a cubby-hole , I think this is the solution so I’ve also ordered one for her house too 10/10 from me !!

Great pull out bin. Very easy to fit to shelf unit under kitchen counter with just a few screws. The bin has good capacity and will take normal black bin liners but does come with some gimmick square shaped bin liners to tempt you into buying more of this style. The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that it does not come with an optional or open/close lid.

I keep meaning to write a review of this bin because it's excellent. I've had it for about 9 months now and it works just as perfectly as it did when I first bought it. The motion is very smooth, it was easy as anything to install, and with the Simple Human K size bags (expensive but so so so worth it, they're durable enough that I have never had a leak, they pull out without stretching and breaking, and they fit the bin perfectly). The bin is very compact but it holds so much. Best bin I've ever had.

Very good quality. Even with plenty of bin-squashing when fully extended it never breaks. Had them 3 yrs and I’m back to buy a couple more soon as we are moving house. The bin liners seem expensive, but they are strong so you can get loads squashed in so work out the same as cheap ones. I also use the recycling bag again for the rubbish bin each time, so get a double use out of them. It’s not being cheap it’s saving the planet (and me being cheap). I have recently removed them for a deep clean; which is easy enough as it’s just 4 screws per frame. They do get a bit gross around the frame after years of accidental bin-misses.

So before I started I had to re-plume under my skink.(pipes went diagonal from the sink to the side. So changes to go straight back, then to the side) I was also scared this would not fit as the main photos give dimensions like 55Hx30Wx50D or something and I was just short on all these numbers. But in the Q&A people have given pour minimal dimension. So I took the risk and it fits. I have put my dimensions in one of the photos and it fits like a glove.(dimensions in the photo is of the gap i had to work with. the the size of the item was close to 51Hx28Wx46D cm) Install was easy 8 screws and I am sure u could get away with 4 screws but as they gave 8 I used all 8. If you plan to put this under the sink hole in a standard UK cupboard it will not fit (I have attached a photo to show the pipe would hit it). I have slot of room to one side of the sink hole. The bin does not come with a lid but I knew this and was not big deal after all for the past 10 years I have been using a bucket (that doubles as a sick bucket). After the install the unit felt firm and did not shake from side to side. The box also came with 10 white bags (K) that I was not expecting as I order 60 bags for it at the same time. I register for the 5 year warranty I got a code for £5 off white bag liners if I knew that I would not wait and bough the 60 bags and save my self £5. The only issue I have it would of been nice to have say a attachable hook on the side or back of the unit (metal frame part) where u could hang the replacement white bag liners Pack. (Back would of been perfect for me). I did try and put the 10 pack under the plastic bin and on top of the metal frame at the bottom. sadly did not fit there.

I had this rack and trash can in my kitchen for about 8 years, during which it worked perfectly. I remodeled my kitchen, and have purchased it again. The materials are high quality, the rack is easy to install and rolls smoothly, and the trash can itself is sturdy and durable. Very happy, and definitely worth it!

La poubelle est livrée dans son carton d'origine, suffisamment protégée à mon sens : un sac en plastique recouvre le bac noir tandis qu'un petit polystyrène souple protège la poignée en métal. Je l'ai logée sous mon îlot central, ce qui est très pratique lorsque je prépare la cuisine puisque je n'ai qu'a balayer l'espace de travail d'un coup de main pour que tout tombe dans la poubelle. Avantages : - la poubelle est très profonde (43 cm) et peu large (18 à 20 cm), on peut donc tout y loger (carcasses, emballage volumineux, etc.) sans pour autant avoir besoin d'un meuble démesurément large (40 cm devraient amplement suffire) - En profondeur elle demande 48 à 50 cm maximum - Sa taille haute évite aux plus sensibles du dos de trop se courber pour tirer la poubelle - Sa fixation par le dessous lui permet d'être logée à droite ou à gauche du meuble sans souci - les vis de fixation sont fournies - le montage est archi-simple ! On fixe les rails et on clipse la structure. Le bac tient tout seul dans la structure en métal - Les rails coulissent bien et sont suffisamment solides - un lot de 10 sacs poubelle sont fournis - le bac en plastique simple est très facilement nettoyable - La poubelle peut sortir complètement, ce qui permet de l'enlever ou changer le sac très facilement Inconvénients : - Il n'y a pas de couvercle, selon les déchets le meuble peut vite prendre des odeurs désagréables - Il n'est pas possible de pousser la poubelle et la laisser finir sa course comme un tiroir. Il faut l'accompagner jusqu'au bout. - la plupart des meubles bas ont une profondeur de 60 cm, ce qui laisse 10 cm de perdus derrière... - son prix La poubelle est livrée avec ses vis et un lot de 10 sacs poubelle Simplehuman de taille K. Les sacs sont en 45L et ne se détachent pas comme les rouleaux ordinaires : ils sont en distributeur (comme les lingettes) et déjà indépendants les uns des autres. C'est qui est pratique et évite aux plus pressés de déchirer le nouveau sac en le détachant rapidement. Le prix à l'achat de ces sacs peut en revanche décourager... Je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de la tester avec d'autres sacs mais il semblerait que des 50L conviendraient parfaitement. Globalement je suis très satisfaite de cet achat même si je trouve que c'est cher pour une poubelle. Cependant les poubelles les moins chères présentent souvent des défauts de fixation et/ou de coulissement. Celle-ci est très bien, surtout si - comme moi - vous avez une cuisine ouverte sur le salon : il m'était impensable d'avoir une poubelle visible aussi design soit-elle.
