I’m a big fat smelly guy. Especially in the summer. I’ve tried many products, hoping to not smell so bad by the end of the day. This is the only product that’s been successful at achieving that goal. It is expensive, and you don’t get a lot for the money. The smell isn’t as nice as I’d hoped. But a little bit goes a long way. I put some under my man boobs. Some under my gut, some in between my legs. After a normal day, each of those areas would have stunk like crazy. Not today. No smell. No sweat. No nothing. I don’t know if it would last 72 hours, but it definitely lasts 12+.

I really don’t understand how this product gets any bad reviews. Yeah, the initial smell isn’t what I expected, but after a few hours it’s basically odorless. I use it for my downstairs mixup. It has kept my butt and balls smelling like nothing. I’m a bigger guy and staying fresh has always been difficult, but Mando changed that in one use. I apply the cream after I shower and stay fresh for over 24 hours. Adding this to my daily routine makes me feel so much better about being spontaneously available if you know what I mean. Even if you’ve been in a long relationship, putting flowers on the table is appreciated.

I've used a total of about 3 tubes of this stuff over the last "bunch" of months. I really love the smell, it works well at not mixing with my own under arm chemistry and making them stink, and it has a nice consistency (could be a little thicker, but it is okay how it is). I tried to use it down under and that was not a pleasant experience to the nostrils. To each their own, but wow, it did not mix well with my natural smells (other brands have, but they sucked under my arms, so choose your battles I guess). I had a subscription for this through the A-Zoniverse. On the 1st month they ran out of inventory, and the price jumped quite a bit, so I cancelled. I cannot justify the price of this stuff no matter how much I loved it. I gave some other brands a try because better prices. So far, they've all had really bad results (some made the pit smell worse than nothing at all - how is that possible). My quest continues. I truly believe there is a company out there that can still make a profit without charging the customer outrageous prices for their product. I may end up going back to the old reliable antiperspirant deodorant discount priced stick of normalcy I used for decades previous ($3 a stick that lasts a couple months but doesn't smell as good as this stuff - vs - $30+ a tube for stuff that smells wonderful, helps keep orders under control but only lasts me about a month, maybe 5 weeks if I skip a shower here and there).

I was on the fence about trying this all over deodorant but I was desperate to find something that would stop the stink at the gym and on hot and sweaty days. I needed more than just underarm deodorant. This product actually works. You have to apply it right after taking a shower when you’re clean, and you stay smelling good all day. The product smells strange when first applying, almost like baby powder or cream, but definitely fades once it’s dry. After using this cream I feel more confident about how I smell, and to me that’s worth the cost.

Let’s start with the not so great. I bought the bourbon and leather and when you put it on, the scent is just awful. I had to hold my breath applying it. It has a much stronger smell than the body wash of the same scent. Now the good news. This product actually works. I didn’t test the 72-hr timeline, but for at least 24-30 hours, this product blocked any and all odors. You don’t smell the product scent, you just have no odor, which is what you want. If I purchase again, I would try the unscented because the scented version smells gross. I would give it 4 or 5 stars had the scent not been unbearable. UPDATE: After using the product for a couple weeks, my skin is super itchy and peeling a bit. I will stop using the product. It's a shame because the product does work for blocking odors, but the smell of the product and it affecting my skin in a negative way.

Used the bourbon cream for the 1st time on my feet, butt & balls before a 12hr trip w/2 plane rides. Normally I would have that old guy BO smell after traveling all day. But this time hardly anything! My socks barely had a smell! Same for my underwear. I’m sold! It’s ironic that it smells absolutely horrible coming out of the tube yet prevents odor so well. And yes, you only need a pea-sized amount.

First off, I really wanted to like this product. I was let down by the scent. I don’t think It smells as described, or good at all (bourbon leather). Also I didn’t love having to apply with my hands. After the first day I can say that I did not have body odor. That is the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars, because I also got a nasty rash under my arms. I do have sensitive skin, but I’ve been using a couple other products with good luck. I won’t be using this again. The tube went in the trash.

Mando is Lumē marketed to men. Plain and simple. Dr. Shannon sold her company to Harry's and works for them now. Changes to the Lumē formula over the years has definitely changed the overall scent. I believe at one point they seem to have started using a scent stabilizer and who knows what else. But, that chemical is always what I smell first. It's not a bad smell, but I have an amazing nose and it is a very forward smell. Silver Spruce (before changes) was my favorite scent, now this. This is very reminiscent of the Bay Rum. As to efficacy, it works! Mind you, this is NOT an antiperspirant. It does not stop sweating. It is a deodorant and does stop odor. For my guy it works the full 72 hours. He has never had a strong body odor in the 7 years I've known him and this prevents any odor at all. For me it lasts 8-12 hours which is longer than any non-antiperspirant deodorant I've used. Deodorants that aren't also antiperspirants usually have me smelling like bad meat and a sour pickle barrel at the same time. Women's hormones change during certain phases and I'm living through one now. For me, it works best when combining the body wash with the deodorant or using ACV on pits, then the deodorant. Overall, despite liking the Lumē products better before formula changes, it is still my go to product. Even though it doesn't last more than 12 hours for me, it lasts 72 hours for my guy. I have been using the product for several years and will be sticking with the product until something better comes along.
