Pharaoh (named for 2015's Triple Crown champion American Pharoah [sic] ), my 6 year old golden retriever, has an ongoing weight issue. After consulting with my vet, I decided to cook for him. He gets a varied diet of lean ground turkey, brown rice, cereal, and recommended fruits and vegetables. On my vet's strong recommendation, to be sure Pharaoh is getting the proper nutrients, I purchased the original whitefish Canine Complete. I was skeptical because when I opened the jar I got this really obnoxious smell and thought Pharaoh would not like it. But I mixed his recommended dosage (a scoop and directions for the correct amount to use are included) with his food and he LOVED it! He's been getting it twice a day and at his last weight check his weight had come down with only a few more pounds to go. Canine Complete also comes in an organic pumpkin flavor, but since he's happy with the whitefish I continue to give that to him despite my reaction to the smell. After all, it's for his benefit. Do I recommend Canine Complete? Absolutely!

Quality product without all the additive and harsh chemicals. My Mal, Shepard and Terrier all seem to love it. Went through the first container in about 4 days and I've reordered. Its added to each meal, two scoops as per instruction for the larger two dogs and one scoop for the Terrier. They all lick their bowls clean with this product. The grains are large enough that you can almost tell what vegetables have been ground telling me the product really is all natural and healthy. The product expands slightly after being added to their food with water re-hydrating it. Its smell is pleasant and overall this company has three new customers for as long as they are in operation. Have and will continue to buy again.

My dogs love this product and it’s so good for them!

I have just went through the first 1lb container of the whitefish for our 3 dogs in 3 weeks, and am going to auto ship! We have 2 schnoodles around 13lbs and one walker/beagle mix about 45lbs. They are 10, 12 & 13 years old. I started making homemade dog food a little over a month ago and it has made a HUGE difference in our dogs. Adding this supplement was a game changer. All three love the taste, and all of their coats have made a big improvement. They’re soft and fluffy like coming back from the groomers. And our white schnoodle has stopped licking her paws and her eyes have gotten much better too. Our beagle mix is not shedding or itching near as much. Their digestion and “potties” have been a lot better. I’ve been doing the supplement with shredded chicken, green beans, carrots & chicken broth, and splitting the supplement up between their 2 meals per day.

I bought a one-pound tub of this supplement for our senior dog, a Newfoundland/Golden Retriever, a little more than a year ago. That was when we realized all of her physical issues could be traced back to an overabundance of Candida in her body. Now, a year later, our girl is on a homemade diet and is generally free of her symptoms (and her fur has grown back where she had developed horrible "elephant skin"). This supplement, Wholistic Pet Canine Complete Organic Supplement, has been part of her healing process. Although not what I would say actually healed her (we used pau d'arco and garlic to help bring down the Candida in her system, and then didn't feed it by using a new, grain-free diet), this supplement just helped lay a strong foundation of minerals, probiotics, etc. as her body re-built itself. I thought to purchase this supplement because I had read that many homemade pet diets are deficient in various vitamins and/or minerals. (For instance, where calcium is concerned, I do add roasted, pulverized organic eggshell to her meals which are not based around fish.) Aside from giving her the occasional homemade kefir (we have to be careful with dairy) for the probiotics and, among other things, chlorella, flax, and spirulina as superfood add-ins, she gets this supplement from The Wholistic Pet. The tub says NOT to give it to a dog every day, so we don't. Our girl--who at 55-60 pounds is on the smaller side, given her parentage--gets a single scoop of the supplement per her two meals on those days I do add it to her diet. The one-pound tub therefore lasted our girl almost a year, and I recently just put in an order for this supplement with the added "joint mobility" compounds. While our girl is not yet showing obvious signs of arthritis, I figure preventative measures can't hurt. She's energetic and happy, she has a shiny coat, her eyesight's fine... did I mention she's energetic?! I'm sure this supplement has helped with her healing process, which is why I came back for more (and because I don't want her to become deficient in something, generally-speaking). Highly recommended natural pet care product!

My dog has gut problems for many years. I spent a lot of money trying to figure out the issue. He has a very sensitive stomach. This give him exactly what he needs to have healthy poops. And helped him gain some weight because his gut is finally happy.

I was going to use the capsules for powdered vitamins for my dog but they were too large for my little 7lb dog. I will find a great use for them as it is a great product. I just wish they were smaller,

Second time ordering and use it every morning as a supplement for my sweet fur baby

I just received this product 2 days ago, so it is too soon to judge how it will impact the health of my 10 year old dog. However, in my decision to take him off commercial food and create balanced meals for him, with healthy ingredients, I chose this organic product. My dog struggles with chronic itchiness and having switched to a variety of commercial dog food in the past, to no avail, I decided to go all-in with high quality, homemade recipes. This order was delivered promptly. I’m impressed with its ingredients and am hoping for improved health and less itchiness in my dog.

Repeated purchase

Just started using this product. No smell. Our guy is picky and he eats his meals right away with it in it. Been using a little while hoping it will help with his shedding. He seems more springy which is great to see in our 10 year old boy. Will write after another month. So far so good. Thankful I found it. It’s been a month and he’s doing great. His eyes are brighter. Big notice is amount of constant shedding. I’ve noticed a change big time in the last week. Shibas shed constantly regardless of season but he was overboard. Now I can hold him and I’m not covered in fur. Great stuff. Will definitely continue to buy. As long as cost does jump too high.

The tub ia dented on both sides. wonder if it affects contents.

I’ve used a few different brands of vitamins/supplements and I think this one is by far the best. I make homemade dog food for both of my dogs - an 13 yr old English Springer and a 5 yr old French bulldog. Within the first week I noticed my senior was acting like a puppy again! They both have beautiful, soft coats and seem to be healthier all around. Highly recommend!!
