Only filter I use on my BMW with the N20 engine. It does a great job with both 5W30 and 0W30 oils.

This is an exceptional premium performance filter.
Stated simply, this is an exceptional premium performance filter.I have extensive training and experience servicing BMWs and can state with confidence that this filter is amongst the best you can use for the intended/specified BMW engines. Any reference to crushed filters or failing O-rings is the result of improper installation. Specifically, do not overtighten the oil cap, the spec is 18 ft lbs., go over/fail to use a torque wrench and the filter is very likely to “crush.” The O-ring “failure” I saw in one review clearly shows that the ring was not installed in the O-ring channel, rather on the top thread where it would be destroyed immediately upon installation.Bottomline, this is a great filter that will perform perfectly when installed correctly. I just want my fellow BMW enthusiast to enjoy their cars, take a moment to verify the correct installation procedure and you wont be disappointed with this filter.
