Thank you thank you thank you SHARPAL, i’ve used Whetstones, Rollers, Lansky systems and none of them worked anywhere near as good as this diamond block. Very easy to use a there’s no water and in turn no mess!!! I went for the bigger size as it gave me more room for the knife, the quality is top tier and the magnetic angle guide is really helpful for beginners. I was pleasantly surprised by the price too because the Lansky system was nearly double what i paid for this. All in all a perfect sharpener for a beginner or seasoned pro. I also recommend the double sided leather strop, really finishes the blade off.

It's handy for getting you used to the different angles needed to sharpen different knives (I have western and Japanese knives). You do have to be careful not to knock it though as the angle can change without you realising.

The Sharpal angle guide is easy to use and helps maintain a consistent sharpening angle, even for beginners. It sits securely on the blade and provides reliable guidance, making sharpening faster and more accurate. A handy, no-nonsense tool for getting consistent results. Not the most ideal for small knives.

The idea behind this product is great to help aid your sharpening ability at a good cost. The product was well made and fitted to my larger knives well, though, didn't work very well with smaller knives. Additionally, the angle would slip regularly as it was not lockable, so did not work as well as it could.

First time freehand sharpening and this bubble is allowing me to be consistent with the angle and achieve great results with my stones. Very easy to use, non intrusive and still helps you to train your sense of keeping a stable angle with your hand.

Bought to compliment whetstone kit. Useful device easy to set up on tool (plane, chisels, knives) has magnetic base to attach to tool. Easy to see the scale and level bubble) Well made instrument good buy
