Don’t use its crap not 1520.
This is.a rip off wasted a tone of time and other Stell drying to make Damascus thought I was doing something wrong. It was this crap. Steel they call 1520 please listen it’s a wast of money and time don’t get ripped off. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Not a lot of cleaning
Pro’s -The steel I got ! Was great all I had to do was chemically wash it, put a little sanding and it was ready to stack. Con’s - need more! A little thin for me. But I will order again. The project was bigger than I figured.

not quality steel
I saw the reviews about this not being 15N20 steel. I am still in the practice stages so I didn't need it to be great. What I did expect was for the steel to be useable. What I received was half an order of unusable steel do to heavy rust. This is not just surface rust, but deep rust that makes a thin piece of steel worthless. My recommendation is to find another supplier since there is no quality control with this company and the billets were not oiled when shipped.
