Amelia's Notebook

My 7 year old read this in about an hour. She couldn’t put it down! Looking forward to getting a few more for her to read. I absolutely loved these books as a kid, and I’m so excited she loved this one too.

When I was in elementary school (in the 90's), I read this book. Two years ago, I started buying this series for my niece. She loves Amelia and with good reason. Not only is this a fun and relatable read but the illustrations make it feel so personal and inviting. I especially like that in "Amelia Lends a Hand," the book includes flash cards that teach sign language. My husband and I spent a couple hours with my niece, learning how to sign. I encourage all girls, young and old, to read some Amelia books.

As the Book Auntie for several little girls of different ages, I was glad to be able to purchase some Amelia books. Some I’ve given away immediately, others are waiting for the intended recipient to grow a bit more. I particularly like the way these books encourage reading and writing as part of the narratives. Thank you to the author and thank you to Amazon for making these great books available.

I loved this book (there’s more than just one ..) when I was a kiddo and so I ordered for my 8 year old and she found it fun like I did and my kids don’t have a huge passion for reading like I do… so the pictures and illustrations make it fun !

My kids love this book series! Clever and fun for them to read!! Definitely recommend!

This was my favorite book as a child. And now to be able to share with my daughter is amazing!

not sure if she's had a chance to read it yet, but she seemed excited by it... I read it and think she will enjoy it.

I read these stories in American Girl Magazine when I was a little girl. I was excited to find it in it's printed form so my daughter could read it too. She is in 3rd grade & read this cover to cover in one evening. Then promptly requested the second book. :) I'm going to have to get a couple for stocking stuffers.
