Venetian High Polish Brass Lighter

A decent little lighter, I lost my old zippo and the 2 days I was without it were pure hell. I've checked for any signs that it's a forgery, just in case, and I can confirm that I'm pretty sure it's a GENUINE zippo lighter. Just in case you were wondering how to check for a forged Zippo I'll post a few simple points: 1. Dull flat click. When you open and shut your Zippo it should have a nice echoey ping. 2. Brass pins. A genuine Zippo will not have brass pins through the thumbwheel and the lock connecting the insert to the case. 3. Obviously the price, this is pretty much the RRP for a cheap Zippo. Fakes will be cheaper. You can also check when your Zippo was made by looking on the bottom of the case. The letter on the left will indicate the month (A is Jan, B is Feb etc.) And then the year is on the right. Mine is Jan 2010. The month and date will also be on the insert (don't worry if the date on the insert doesn't match the date on the bottom, they are often made at different times). Would Definitely recommend! 10/10 =]

This is a replacement for the original which is 20 years old!Zippo is a good quality make that is used every where and well known,This is one of the many designs that Zippo do which is very good looking also handy in bad weather as you can light a Zippo in windy conditions. This design has a nice feathery like design on the casing in polished brass,the lid flips up to expose the lighting wheel,you can buy Zippo lighter fuel as well to guarantee long life of the lighter to! The lighter is quick and easy to fill and use also is very nice looking,this design would be nice looking enough to give as a gift.The supplier of this lighter was also very quick to dispatch the item to,came in its own box and packed well,would recommend to anyone.

This is my first Zippo Lighter. The lighters I used previously were IMCO (Austrian!) lighters and they are pure workhorses. The Zippo arrived absolutely gleaming like a mirror, but, as one would expect with a solid brass case, after 3 or 4 weeks it's now rather tarnished... that's fine, although I can't find my brasso). The clunk is indeed fantastic. What I would say in comparison with the IMCO lighters is that the Zippo seems to go through fuel quite a bit faster and also that, in my opinion, the wind-shielding properties of the IMCO lighters are superior. Viewed purely in practical terms, the IMCOs are better lighters. That said, you can't beat the Zippo style, the clunk, the ritual flipping and closing of the lid - it does kind of add to the cigarette lighting experience (ha!). Lifetime guarantee with all Zippos, they are built to last! I am 100% happy with this lighter - I bought it simply because I wanted a Zippo!

Great quality and working well

I thought the lighter may have been a knock off due to the low price paid, but when I received and examined it, this is the real deal, a genuine Zippo with all the attributes you would expect. I have had a few Zippo's over many years and this one is up there with the best of them, I would definately recommend it.

Beautiful engraving

Another great reliable petrol lighter from Zippo. This Brass lighter feels solid and heavy with a thick, black-brass classic Floral Emblem design, on the side (the lid still flips n'clunks as usual, and the lighter has a normal brass insert). I'd say this was "a must" for the collector. This lighter would also make a very good present, with space for engraving, on the other side. A real nice thing, so if you like Zippo and can afford it, BUY it.

Dissapointing lighter, it seems to be a laser or etched on pattern not stamped on engraved so it feels like sandpaper also makes it hard to wipe smudges off. Something not right with it doesn't feel like a genuine zippo product, the insert feels a bit loose and it rattles, considering returning it.

Too small. The fuel runs out (or vaporize) very fast.

Wasn't upto the mark

L'accendino è meraviglioso. L'ho preso come regalo di compleanno al mio ragazzo e sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa...me ne sono totalmente innamorata!!! sono quasi tentata a prenderne uno uguale per me 😆 Ho scelto la versione silver perché il mio ragazzo mi ha raccontato di avercelo avuto uguale e di averlo perso. È arrivato in un giorno e mezzo in un semplice pacchetto nero marchiato ZIPPO abbastanza carino. L'accendino è perfetto. Ho controllato anche sotto il coperchio perché da alcune recensioni risultava rovinato. Nel mio caso il metallo è perfetto e lucente. C'è uno spazio lasciato apposta per l'incisione (eventualmente) e credo che la farò aggiungere da un orefice. Così sarà ancora più personale come regalo. Il metallo è inciso, non disegnato come ho letto in giro. Ma l'incisione di per sé non è molto calcata. È un po' come l'incisione su vetro, per intenderci. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo
