The Amazon basics latest standard of 4K, UltraHDHDMI with high speed was a recommended frequent buy with the HDMI switch that I had purchased at the same time. I recently have just ordered a new 58 inch Panasonic television and a Panasonic HTB 700 sound bar, But I didn’t realise at this specific Time that HDMI had been upgraded since my last purchase of a television. After browsing Amazon‘s website, I found that these Amazon basics latest standard of high speed 4K Ultra HD met all the requirements I needed for my set up, and having three in a pack for £8.99 at time of review was a bargain, I thought especially at this price I will change all of the cables, That way I know I am safe with my specific new set up as most of the devices that I have support Dolby Atmos and all support 4K. I am glad to say that the new leads and the HDMI switch that also supports 4K and Dolby Atmos all work fantastically. I am glad that I done a little research on the Internet, as I found out that HDMI supports A higher resolution of audio which A digital optical cannot transmit audio formats such as Blu-ray, Dolby true HD and DTSHD master. This particular length of HDMI that I chose was just about right, as I didn’t want lots of untidy cables getting tangled, but I do admit it was a little tricky as I didn’t have a lot of cable to play with and being on my knees for a couple of hours wasn’t fun, But as it is all set up now and working fantastically I would happily recommend these Amazon basic leads. I have attached a photo to show you how the product arrives in a plain box with three of these cables inside, I hope you find this review helpful.

Great value for the price I paid. Good quality cables. They feel quite sturdy and the length was spot on. The signal seems to be great so far. Using them with a channel switch and the quality of the image is still great

For someone who used to battle with various types of cables and connections, HDMI (and the evolutions of...) are very much welcomed. Amazon's 'Basic' offering does pretty much everything I could want (or hope) for, with the least amount of fuss and at a very good (let's be honest, it's hard to beat) price. I only had an urgent need for one cable, but know full well that I'll need more HDMI cables in the future (it's pretty much the 'go to' connector for my audio / visual stuff, inc. computer monitors) and the step up in cost from one cable to three hardly made any difference at all. The first thing I like is 'the no fuss' packaging. I don't have to fight to get into the cables, and they're also safely packed and wound with a 'twist tie'. The ends are also protected / capped, but it's a breeze to get a cable out, unpacked and ready to go. In this particular setup, I was connecting a (new) 4K Player to a matched TV / Screen. Now, I've no base-line or reference with any other cable available to me, but I'm still impressed (yes, new kit will do that!) and I don't believe that this cable has in any way limited performance (picture is superb!) I did try another cable (same set) for audio output and, as expected, everything was spot on there as well. Can it be improved? Well, there's room for improvement with just about everything and I'm more limited by space. Personally, It's be nice to have (option) 90 degree (or angled) connectors, to sit in flush with devices, but that really is me just being picky (and admitting that I like neat cable runs). Connectors are a nice clean, snug fit and cables are nice and pliable, without feeling flimsy. Oh, one note is that the lengths are (in my case) absolutely spot on, so there's no 'little bit extra', if you've measured things out to be exact. Again, not a compliant, but something to consider (maybe go up a length, if you're in any way worried about cable runs).

A+++, got for work but only needed 1. Others kept as spares. Length and quality good.

Just moved into a new location after years of travelling and wanted to set up several devices using splitters and switches, so needed a few extra HDMI cables. Particularly wanted a longer cable to connect a TV that is away from the splitter, hence the 10M cable purchase. With regards to value for money, you really can't do much better than these cables. I can see no discernible drop in quality between these and higher value HDMI cables and you get 3! Only need 1 or 2, split the cost with a friend or give one away. Cables are quite stiff when they arrive, so if you need them to lie in a very particular way I'd recommend unfolding them when they arrive (removing cable ties) and then letting them get used to be unfurled for a little bit before setting them up.

I've used a number of expensive HDMI cables in the past but needed some longer ones to accommodate changes to our media system. Having read numerous reviews I found some technical articles that insisted that cheaper cables were just as effective as their expensive counterparts for normal domestic use and I can confirm that these work well in our system. My ageing hearing makes it impossible for me to claim to be an audiophile but crisp reproduction is important and these cables are matched up with a Yamaha 7:2 AV amp, Samsung 49" HDR TV and Samsung native 4K Bluray player. Even with a standard definition source, reproduction is excellent giving sharp pictures and well defined sound. At 4K reproduction is superb, there is no colour bleed, artefacts or distortions. At a fraction of the cost of high end cables I'm impressed.

These are my first HDMI 2.0 compatible cables but I need full bandwidth for my new HDR UHD TV. I read many experiences over the past few years and a lot of problems going over 2m length. Even expensive brand cables need to be replaced at times to get a computer compatible UHD 60Hz cable. I am sceptical of cheap cables but decided to take a chance on these because with 3 cables for £12, there is a better chance I will get 1 that works. And the reviews suggested I have a fair chance of success. Tested: 1 cable from PC to my AVR with another from the AVR to the TV. 2 cables in use at the same time. Direct from the PC to the TV with 1 cable. I tested many UHD movies including HDR and they work great, no issues at all. I even managed to play HDR UHD movies using RGB full which is higher bandwidth than 18Gbps, this surprised me it worked at all. Ordinarily you should change to ycbcr 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 before 10bit HDR will work. This is with an NVidia 1080ti. I cant vouch for other cards released before this. Very happy me :) For now they get 5 stars. If anything changes I will update my review.

Linkage is firm, picture quality great, fair price, unsure on durability as they are new, but cannot see a reason why it shiould be unacceptable. As it stands would buy again but a bit early to tell

At first, I thought these were cheap HDMI cables that will only get me through till I find better ones, turns out, they’re excellent! They’re much better than my old cables which were more expensive! My old cables maxed out at Chroma 4:2:0 These got me up to 4:4:4!! (Which is the maximum) Just get these, you won’t regret it
