I would retrieve it, dust it off, and feel the quiet dread of a warrior who knows his armor has begun to fail. Then the Omnnpak case arrived, black and resolute as the mail of a knight who has ridden the length of the Pelennor and lived to tell it, its fabric dense yet supple, the stitching tight as an oath sworn before the Valar. I slipped the Surface inside—11th Edition AI 2024, snug as though forged to its measure—no gap at the corners, no rattle when the kickstand deployed. The multiple-angle stand rose firm and unyielding, holding the screen steady through the worst of the Dan Ryan crawl; the stylus holder gripped the pen with the quiet insistence of a squire who will not let his lord’s blade fall. And when the Type Cover clicked into place beneath, the whole assembly became one—lightweight yet unshakeable, adding scarcely more than the weight of a hobbit’s second breakfast yet carrying the stubborn strength of mithril beneath velvet. I have carried it now through the winter’s full wrath: bouncing over frost-heaved asphalt on Irving Park, surviving the sudden stops where the Outback’s brakes bite hard, enduring the long idle at red lights while the heater fights a losing war against the cold. The case does not sag, does not crease, does not yield when the bag is tossed into the trunk beside the gym gear and the dog’s leash. It stands watch like a sentinel at Helm’s Deep—drop it, bump it, let the Chicago salt spray across it—and the Surface emerges unscathed, screen pristine, edges unmarred, ready for the next skirmish of emails and spreadsheets. Very sturdy? Nay, it is more than sturdy; it is obdurate, forged for the campaign that never ends, the fellowship your tablet has hungered for when the city turns mean and the road remembers every grudge. No mere sleeve, no flimsy folio—this is covenant between device and driver, a case raised against the treacheries of frost and traffic, the steadfast guardian that lets the Surface endure where lesser protections would have shattered long ago. I'm one of those who is VERY fussy about accessories and will buy 4-5 cases and keep the one I like. This was hands-down the winner, even against some of the "recommended" cases. I never heard of Omnpak but I'm more than impressed. The fit, feel, functionality, port accessibility, and style are all excellent and the quality of the material is outstanding. Aesthetically, It's also VERY sharp and professional looking, whether you're a freelancer in a coffee shop or an executive in a meeting. Overall an outstanding case for those using the Surface Pro at home and on the go. The only "downside" is that the case covers the back so if you're an attention seeker who likes to "flex" your device by showing off the signature Windows logo and kickstand ("Look at me, and my cool Surface Pro!") this isn't for you. I do recommend a case though because the Surface Pro is like a handling a wet fish without one.

PROS -Great case for using your device on your lap -Looks Good -Protects your Surface well -Covers, protects, and supports keyboard, too CONS -Covers up your pretty new Surface in that cool color you want -Access to ports limited -Unsure of durability I tried a couple of different cases that did a fine job of protecting my computer. But the Surface's design with the keyboard makes it a terrible device for actual laptop use. I find it unstable. I wish someone would come up with an aftermarket keyboard like Apple's Magic Keyboard for their iPads. It really steadies the device and keyboard. Alas..... Until that happens the Omnpak cover provides the best stable platform for laptop usage of my Surface 9 Pro with the factory keyboard. I can recommend this enough for Surface Pro 9 owners who feel like their computer is hard to use on their lap. For me this case is a game changer. It makes my computer so much easier to use the way I want to use it. The cover seems very protective of my Surface. It works well on a desk or in my lap. It provides a solid base for the keyboard and prevents the keyboard from flopping around when using in on my lap. I have a different style of case that is tacticool, but it does not support the keyboard the way this case does. The case looks pretty good and is very business like. My biggest complaint is that it covers up the cool green Surface Pro 9 that I "Had to have!" It does cover up my beautiful machine. My other favorite case has clear plastic panels surrounded by black tactical looking bumpers. Everyone can still see my great taste in computers! LOL. But this Omnpak cover does support the keyboard while the other one doesn't. I'll take function over beauty any day My only other minor gripe is that the design of this case does not allow you to use those hubs that plug into and stick to the side of your Surface. Nor will it allow usage of a 90 degree USB-C plug. The result is that you're forced to use a USB-C device that sticks out of the side of your computer. It feels like something is going to come aling and break the plug off, rendering the port ot computer useless. This is more of a design flaw of the Surface, not Omnpak. I have found the exact same issue with the other cases I have tried as well. (photos attached) I don't know about the durability of this case. I will update if I have any future problems. I am extremely satisfied with this case. I would buy it again if something happened to this one.

I have cats and they tear at the case all the time but it has held up really nicely. It protects my computer from my cats and all sorts of things. It fit on my computer perfectly.

I love my predecessor to this model that I have on my Surface Pro 4. This Surface Pro 11 version has little friction, causing the Surface to slide on the material used inside. Older, alternative versions included a velcro-like material on the sleeve to keep the computer in place and prevent it from slipping while in use. Looks great, and my gripe isn't big enough to warrant sending it back.

Love this case so much. You do not even have to clip the stand part of your Surface into the case as the case stands up and adjusts to the tilt you need. Looks so good too. I would say I would buy again but the quality is so good I won't need to. If you are looking for a great looking case for your Surface 9, 10 or 11, look no further.
