Captain America: The First Avenger

I enjoyed this as much as I do the iron Man films and have worked out why. These two heroes are fallible humans we can relate to who do extraordinary things (or odd things depending on how you look at it...not everyone flies round in a suit of armour or fly an experimental and highly advanced plane when he is a member of the army ground forces etc). On the other hand with the other superheroes we tend to see them as superheroes all the time....as Batman and Superman...or even a god Thor......who just happen to dress up as humans occassionally.Quite a lot of hidden humour in this which I enjoyed and the storyline, while obviously made up and a bit unreal fit into the timeframe and attitudes of the period quite well. A good yarn and am looking forward to the next film coming out on DVD.

Arrived on time, great dvd

This film is a great predecessor for the Avenger films, especially coming from someone who has seen the entirety of the "phases" (true Marvel fans will know). If wanting something easy to watch while piecing together the last fragments of the first infinity stone, this is the perfect film. Unsure how someone could criticise this for being slow or not as action-packed, it is set in the 1940's!

Really enjoyed this film - Steve Rogers & Peggy Carter are great characters. Love the way these Marvel films all interlink with one another and I can't wait to watch Captain America - The Winter Soldier. Have also heard that Peggy Carter (played by Hayley Attwell) will be getting her own spin-off tv series. That is definitely good news.

I think this movie is great! I won't review it though as there are many other reviews of it online I'm sure. The bonus features were quite good and worth a watch I'd say but nothing amazing. The Marvel One Shot short film was worth while, sets up the up coming Agent Carter series.

This dvd turned out to be far,far better than expected. As with all of this type of film you have to suspend believabilty and just enjoy the mayhem. I was pleased that the sountrack is better than most other modern films(you could actually hear the dialogue without full volume) and the imaging also. If you like comic to film productions BUY this

Yup, they've done it again. The moral of this is that it takes more than just a good body to be a hero (although that does help & comes into it later). Chris Evans (no,not the ginger radio presenter thankfully) is brilliant, fighting back after being shelved, & his somewhat sad life story is very well told, Can't wait for the next installment - The Winter Soldier - due out this year.

*compre la película recondicionada por 4 euros,es la versión inglesa pero contiene castellano,le pongo 3 estrellas porque llego con un rayón en al superficie,la peli se me ve bien salvo una escena que esta el capi con Peggy Carter y no se porque parpadea la imagen un poco,quizás en un futuro me haga con otra edición no opte por devolución por 4 euros que me valió.
