Decent quality, but may not reach advertised distance over CAT6
The take-away, if these are going to be used at or near the advertised distance limit, be aware they may not work at 10 GBe. The good, they negotiate down when paired with a lower speed port, 2.5GBe in this case. These were purchased to link the 10GBe backplane of two identical TP-Link switches at a distance of maybe 80 feet (~24m). Distance was estimated. Will update this review if/when the run is measured. The SFPs were tested before deployment with a short jumper. They worked at 10GBe as they should. The SFPs would not negotiate a link at any speed when plugging them in to the long run. Plugging one end in to a 2.5GBe switch port leaving the 10GBe SFP connection at the other successfully negotiated a 2.5 GBe link. Although workable, it wasn't delivering the desired speed. Connectors at each end were verified. One was replaced as a precaution, still no 10GBe link. CAT6 cable and connectors were used, properly terminated using T568B. There's a competitor on Amazon that offers 10 GBe SFP+ advertising up to 80m. These were purchased and installed and successfully negotiated a 10GBe link. Just as a test, one of the replacement SFPs at one end connecting to the 10GTek at the other and would not establish a stable link. This was somewhat expected but was curious if it would work. On the fence about returning these as there may be utility in having them as fallback spares or for some future purpose. Also, not yet 100% sure of the distance and it is possible there's some other issue. However, the fact that the other SFPs work at the current distance leads me to believe the existing CAT6 run is okay. I may test these at 30m and 20m with pristine cables and will update the review with that result. If they don't work at 20m they will be returned. No idea about long term durability. They do run hot as most copper SFPs do. They insert and extract just fine. The bales appear to be durable, and work well to secure the SFP when closed, and allow easy extraction when open. For now, won't be using these again with runs close to the advertised limits. For shorter runs they are likely just fine.

So far so good
So far, so good working with my 5gig connection, they do get extremely hot to the touch, but I haven’t had any issues in the few months they’ve been in use about 8-10hrs a day.

No temp reporting within unifi.
These work good but do not report temps within the UniFi network reporting. Fyi

The few dollars I thought I would save
I originally purchased the following: 10Gb SFP+ RJ45 Transceiver, 10GBase-T SFP+ Copper Ethernet Module, Supports 10G/5G/2.5G/1G Speeds, Compatible with Cisco, Ubiquiti, UniFi, Meraki, MikroTik, Supermicro, up to 30m The above product never worked. I returned the above product and purchased this product which worked immediately. So, remember that just because a product states it will work with a particular family of products (e.g., all Ubiquiti routers), you will only know for sure after trying. Even though this product is more expensive than my original purchase, I wish I had some way to have known that this is the right product for my needs as my time is worth so much more than the few dollars I thought I would save.
