For my Dyson V8, this was perfect. The stick on strips were sized well. The wheels fit well. I reused the original spindles that are slightly thicker. There is one long strip and two shorter strips. Pull the old ones out. Start the new strips in a hole at one end and push them in the slot sticking the other end in the hole on the other side before pressing it in all the way. If your strips are worn down off, it's probably time to clean your hard wood head out thoroughly. There is a plastic locking piece you need to rotate counter clockwise to rotate the end off, then the roller comes out. It rinses off really well in warm water. So clean it off wrap it in paper towels or an old towel to help dry it. The air intakes by the rollers may be clogged up the tweezers work well to pull that out. from the top and inside. Then remove the torx bolts, pull back on that side and slide out the back piece with the two wheels. Under neath you can push the spindle out with the tweezers or small screwdriver, than pull it out with your fingers. Remove the wheel and debris, install new wheels. And reverse order everything back together.

Comes off as soon as u use the vacuum. Waited 48 hours but glued did not cure . Would not recommend

Using these parts did make a positive difference in cleaning ability of my Dyson stick vacuum. However the adhesive on some of the felt strips didn’t hold very well and fell off even after cleaning with alcohol.

This was a perfect replacement for my Dyson V7 Motörhead cordless vac at a good price. Recommend.

Well this is a mixed bag. I have a V8 and first of all these wheels are far too small (radius), the axle hole is also far too small for the original axle. And trying to use the axles they provide is useless because it is too thin to snap and hold in place. So the statement that these are the perfect replacement for Dyson plate wheels is far from the truth. After having to drill them out to fit the origianal axles, when installed they do not even touch the floor. So they really are serving no purpose. The felt plush strips looked to be perfect replacements, but after one brief (10 minute) use, they are almost completely worn through in the two major pressure points, and will probably glide for one additional use until they need replacing again. So while I was incredibly hopeful that this product would be able to extend the life of my 11 year old vacuum's head, I believe I need to go back to Dyson and get one of their replacement heads. Yikes! I cannot even imagine the cost of that.

I had the same problem with the felt strips. Lasted about 2 minutes before they were laying on the carpet. Adhesive not anything like what held the original strip on. Had a hard time getting the old one off. Gonna try maybe two way tape or another glue. Don’t really want to use glue, because I may need to change again, but does no good to have them and not use them. The new rollers are great, though. Very easy to maneuver, now.

We have had a Dyson V6 for about 6 years or so and the wheels and pads on the Motorhead were worn out. My wife thought we should buy another newer model. However, for about $20 and an hour of my time, it Is now as good as new and she is happy! There is a video that I watched on the product listing and it made the process a quick and easy job. I could do another one in 10 minutes now that I know how to do it. Highly recommended.
