Deltec MCE300 Protein Skimmer

Deltec mce 300 skimmer, I purchased one of these skimmers two weeks ago the assembly instructions are a little vauge to say the least,what is quiet to some is not to others at long tast I have a unit that does not slurp but the pump now used vibrates furiously, no matter what d&d advise through their faq web page,I have tried foam between tank and skimmer surrounded it in foam all to no avail. Having said that if you can put up with the racket it does the job efficiently, mine has gone back to my retailer today for them to put on test over the next few days,I hope they can come up with an answer.
