I use it on my left shoulder & hip from a recent fall on the ice, i am seventy-three. I love the coolness of the gel pack which comforts the shoulder & hip. Now everyone is different in feelings of these gel packs, so these are just my thoughts. But i would definitely buy another.

I love that the outside is vinyl, so much easier and smoother to work with. Second time ordering, very pleased with the product and the company. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I bought this as a backup ice pack for the head wrap I bought a few years ago. The one I bought a few years ago is awesome. It stays cold for about a half an hour and the gel is thick, and the material the ice pack is made out of is pretty sturdy. The material this ice pack is made out of is so much thinner and flimsy than the original one. The gel inside is much thinner than the original, and it only stays cold for ten minutes, whereas my old ice pack stays cold for around 30. I was greatly disappointed in this product. If I would have caught it within the return window, I would have gotten my money back.

Versatile but do get the cover w straps. Using towel is awkward.

I mis read the ad. Doesn't come with an outer jacket or fabric cover. Cant find one. Wife said she would sew one out of an old towel for me. Use a shoelace to hold closed when I have nasty muscle tension headaches, and am waiting nearly an hour for pain med to take effect. Very flexible.

I didn't like that it didn't have a piece that I could use to connect the gel pad to keep it on me. Stays cold for approximately 20-30 minutes after staying in the freezer most of the day.
