Vintage guitar needed new strings and these did the trick. Good value and a reliable brand.

I want to sort out the set up of my Gea4Music acoustic guitar, the cheap cutaway version. There was just a couple of dead frets, The action is nice and low 2mm bottom E, 1.5mm top E. I have tried various brands of guitar strings over the years for my acoustic guitar and always come back to D'Addario. My hands perspire very easily and I find that D'Addario Guitar Strings provides me with the longest lasting tone compared to any other brand of acoustic guitar strings.

I had regularly been using Martin extra lights, but they seem to have increased the price of those. So since Dads have a good reputation (and I've used their strings on my classical guitar) I decided to go with these. So far they've been great. I've used a set on my Tanglewood Winterleaf (which has Grover tuners) and after a couple of uses have only really needed slight adjustments which seem to depend more on the weather conditions and humidity. Tone wise, not much difference between these and the Martins.
