im getting 140-150mbs and it all maters what your system is ie, CPU Ram, but its 3 times as fast as as my old reader

I bought this use with my SD cards and it's very very slow despite being USBC. My cards are fast at 300mb/s and copying to an T7 via USBC - yet so so slow to do larger data transfers. I'm sure there are better card reader options.

Ho acquistato il SanDisk Professional PRO-READER SD and microSD per il mio workflow con drone e fotocamera (uso ad esempio anche il drone DJI Mini 4 Pro) e posso dire con convinzione che è un dispositivo eccellente sotto tutti i profili. 🔹 Qualità costruttiva e compatibilità La struttura in alluminio trasmette subito una sensazione di professionalità: peso e finitura sono curati, e il lettore include un cavo USB-C che lo rende immediatamente compatibile con MacBook, PC moderni e tablet.  🔹 Prestazioni reali Test pratici con schede SD ad alta velocità hanno riportato letture attorno a ~189 MB/s, mentre il lettore ha dimostrato di estrarre quasi tutto il potenziale rispetto al lettore integrato di un notebook (che invece si fermava a circa la metà).  Questo significa che per scaricare filmati 4K, foto in RAW o registrazioni drone ad alto bitrate, la differenza è concreta. 🔹 Funzioni utili Ottima anche la presenza dell’interruttore di blocco scrittura (“write-lock”) per evitare cancellazioni accidentali dei dati. L’ingombro è contenuto (115 × 60 × 19 mm) e il design impilabile è un plus se hai più lettori.  🔹 Considerazioni finali In sintesi: se lavori con video, fotografie, droni o semplicemente vuoi un lettore che non sia “il solito economico”, questo SanDisk fa davvero la differenza. Als Videograf arbeite ich regelmäßig mit großen Datenmengen von SD- und microSD-Karten. Der SanDisk Professional PRO-READER SD und microSD hat sich dabei als äußerst zuverlässig erwiesen. Dank der USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 Schnittstelle und der QuickFlow™-Technologie erreiche ich konstant hohe Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten, was meinen Workflow erheblich beschleunigt. Besonders bei der Arbeit mit SanDisk Extreme PRO UHS-I Karten kann der Leser die maximale Leistung der Karten voll ausschöpfen. Auch Karten anderer Hersteller werden rasend schnell gelesen und beschrieben, aber da muss man testen, welche für die hohen Geschwindigkeiten kompatibel sind. Das hochwertige Aluminiumgehäuse sorgt nicht nur für eine ansprechende Optik, sondern hilft auch, die Karten während des Transfers kühl zu halten – ein wichtiger Aspekt bei längeren Sessions.
