Hello bug lovers and crochet adventurers! Grab your research equipment (magnifying glass, flask of tea, crochet hook, scissors and yarn) and follow us into a world full of magic and science, a microcosm of tiny creatures and big dreams! In this book you will find not only a charming selection of crochet patterns to create scrabbling beetles, beautiful bugs and fluttering butterfly crochet amigurumi, but also a wonderful story to read out loud and ponder on: a tale about growing up; accepting change and the power of dreams. Watch tiny creatures hatching from their eggs, look on as they munch through a green world, and be astonished at their marvelous transformations when they finally slip out of their cocoons. The wings and hats are interchangeable so you can use the patterns in this book to create new outfits for your little insect friends. Give your caterpillar a new set of wings for every day of the week, or cover your beetle in the most colourful wing suits. Be inspired by nature to make creatures of your own creation. It's a great little world full of possibilities. We wish you lots of fun on your journey of discovery and learning! Review: Excellent - Beautiful book! Patterns are very precise. Be sure to read all the directions and you won’t have a problem. I wish she had more books. Review: This book is awesome on every level - I have only crocheted a few of the creatures so far but I love them! The book is so clever, the instructions so clear and the pictures so beautiful it is a pleasure to own this book. My kids really like it too. I love that I can crochet the entire life cycle of a butterfly--how cool is that! The patterns are so clever and the story so enjoyable. This is a real keeper. First I bought a digital copy but then I knew I needed hard cover as well as it is so beautifully photographed.

Beetles, Bugs & Butterflies!
Easy directions & the sweetest back stories! Every caterpillar can turn into a butterfly, if you want, and you can even make the cocoon. Your little friends will have fun playing with them & turning them into butterflies! There’s also ladybugs, aphids, maggots, and more! But these darling bugs are cute as a, well, bug! I bet you’ll enjoy making them, and any little ones who you gift them to will enjoy playing with them!

LOVE this pattern book
What's really not like? Can't beat a cute bug amigurumi pattern book with an educational story for the kids to go along with it. Having all the parts like the cocoon, larvae, ability to remove the wings, etc., make the final project even more fun for the kids to play with. It's like "bug dress up". The pictures are great and I thought the pattern instructions were easy enough to follow as well. If you don't mind them turning out on the larger size, don't be afraid to use a 3.75mm hook or a G and some 4 med yarn.

Best Lalylala yet!
The hardcover version is a work of art! The book is very thoughtfully created. (I'm actually tempted to get the ebook version so I don't ruin the book!) Patterns are easy to understand and can be followed by an advanced beginner. Instructions are well written and photos are available for the tougher parts. This would make a great gift for any amigurumi fan, regardless of interest in bugs. I personally have never been more excited about aphids like I was when this book arrived! If you're on the fence about getting this, don't be. You won't be disappointed! I can't wait to make all of the characters!

Instruction can be confusing.
Not only the book has multiple patterns to create a cute stuffed bug, it has a very detailed instructions/tutorials for the stitches. However, the instructions for assembling the wings an be very confused. I almost gave up. In short, it needs two pieces to make 1 wing. So for the butterfly, you will need 8 pieces. Over all, i really like the book and plan to continue making more wings.

Different in a great way
I have had my eye on this book for a while. I thought you would have to make each doll as a separate part of the life cycle of a bug but you don’t. Pick a bug and it’s one doll that has different outfits for each stage! I haven’t made one yet but I looked over the patterns and they seem simple enough. Probably not a good beginner book though. There’s even a cute story at the beginning before you get to the patterns.

Personaggi semplicemente bellissimi!
Semplicemente bellissimo.

Beautiful book.
Absolutely beautiful book, has a story at the beginning about the insects in the book. My daughters love the story and were even more thrilled, to also have them crocheted for them! The book also shows you all the techniques for crocheting, so it’s also good for beginners. Highly recommend. :)

great book, great patterns
This book is so darn cute!! Love the story at the first and the patterns are just fantastic. The instructions are easy to follow, well written and have lots of helpful tips. The figures make up great too. My grandkids love them and so do all the adults I show them to! I'll be making beetles, bugs and butterflies for quite some time to come!

Tolle Idee, liebevolle Umsetzung, absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!
