Overall, I really like this temporary color and it works as described. The instructions are easy to follow …make sure to shake the product well or it will go on too light!!! Here are a few suggestions that will help…. The the color is surprisingly water-resistant (even in the pool), there are days when I need to touch it up especially when there is lots of rubbing involved like after my gym workout or a large messy meal, lol. This product is alcohol based, which according to the manufacturer is organic and it makes the color dry and set instantly …that is very true, it is super-super fast. Initially you can smell the alcohol, but it is mild and evaporates after a while so this doesn't bother me. Simply wash it off before going to bed and re-apply in the morning. It will work and look better that way, at least it does for me. This is the easiest, and in my opinion, safest beard color on the market that I’ve tried. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing it after reading a couple of negative reviews but now after using it for some time I can tell you that it gets the job done. It’s important to remember that this is a temporary beard color, not a dye (which is why I got it to start with as I'm conscious about using chemicals especially on my face), so keep your expectations realistic.

I think I might prefer a scented marker. This product smells unpleasant, took ALL the softness out of the beard and will need to be applied at least daily for any degree of efficacy.

Works the best so far on my blond beard. Most products make it too dark and stain my skin. This one is just right. That being said, DON'T LET IT TIP OVER while cap is off. It will leak out the top and run out. I lost half the product on my bathroom counter. Odd smell but it's growing on me.

I purchased this beard color after seeing a Facebook ad. Overall it works as advertised. I look 10 years younger, lol. Make sure to follow the steps in the instructions and you won’t be disappointed. Just like any paint, the color needs to be shaken well before application. Otherwise, I can see that you may end up with light coverage or color that isn't adhering or is coming off sooner than expected as some of the negative reviews suggest. The color and applicator brush allow you to easily control the coverage. I prefer a salt-and-pepper look, so I apply it in light layers. I read in the description that sometimes you may have to touch up the color during the day. I haven’t had this issue, but it may be because I prefer some grey showing through which to me looks more natural. Have fun!
