Convertible Crib Bed Rail for Toddlers, Crib Rail Guard with Reinforced Anchor Safety

When we transitioned the crib for our toddler, she kept rolling out on the floor. We had pillows down but needed to get a rail. It was a little difficult to find one that worked with cribs. This one is perfect! I like how you can fold it down, if need be. It won’t full fold down due to us having her mattress the lowest it can go. It fits perfectly leaving no space between the bottom of the rail and the mattress. I have it in the center which leaves an opening about a foot on each end. It’s pretty sturdy and has held up to my toddler sleeping against it. The rail was easy to install and works well with our delta crib.

I am thrilled with not just this bed rail but the Hiccapop customer service as well. I purchased this rail for my toddler in 2024. It took about five minutes to install. I loved how secure and functional it was, we had zero issues. Eventually either from the puppy or the toddler, or both, the netting started tearing. I was super bummed so I reached out to customer service regarding purchasing a new cover. They were so great and offered to sen me one free of charge! It shipped and arrived within a few days. Great product and great customer service! I can’t recommend enough.

So glad I decided on ordering this rail instead of the one that the crib manufacturer was advertising for converting my son’s crib to a toddler bed. This rail is twice the length and at least 4 inches taller than the one made for the conversion kit on his crib. It was fairly easy to put together (with 2 people since we only used the written directions included and didn’t notice the QR code on the box for a video 😅) and the quality and material seems well made. It comes with straps to hold it down on the opposite end that isn’t screwed on to the metal frame to make sure it doesn’t budge at all. It’s also easy to lift up and down, although I just leave it up as my son goes in through either of the openings with no problem. He moves around a lot in his sleep and this rail has kept him from falling out every single time, something I doubt the other rail would’ve done due to how much shorter it was in length. The mesh is breathable and not rough, so it doesn’t bother him when he ends up with his face in it here and there overnight. I haven’t tried to wash the mesh yet but I would assume you have to take it apart to get the mesh out so I’m really hoping I won’t need to 🤣

I didn’t want lumps under the mattress that my granddaughter would be bothered by or that could potentially damage the mattress, so I very easily installed this guardrail underneath the mattress platform instead of on top of the platform. I simply flipped the rail’s metal clamps upside down underneath the platform and screwed it in, top side down (screw nut on the bottom of it all, facing the floor). Easy Peasy. The Velcro straps were then used in the very same way as the instructions only the bottom rail bar sits underneath the platform instead of on top. It’s all very secure and not going anywhere as well as being snug against the mattress so no little person appendages will get caught in-between. In the video, I was trying to work the drop release latches with one hand while holding a camera and is the only reason it got a little awkward. When I tested it out with the normal two hands, it worked smoothly and as it should. I do have the base/feet of the crib removed so my granddaughter can climb in and out on her own, so my mattress platform is low to the ground and the rail can obviously only drop so far. But, I don’t intend on really using that feature anyway. She can climb in and out of the opening at the foot of the bed. I centered it so there was just enough room for her to do that. I do highly recommend slipping the guardrail in place and then flipping your crib on it’s front when installing. When I finally did this, it made everything so, so much easier to reach and maneuver. I dropped a star from my review for two reasons. I highly recommend this guardrail and would buy it again, however it was, 1) a day late in delivery and I really needed it the day it was originally scheduled to arrive, putting me in a huge bind and, 2) When it finally arrived, the top corner metal pieces for the rail were unfortunately for the same corner and therefore could not link together. I had to start an exchange. The replacement guardrail however came quickly and was here in 2 days. All the parts in that box were what they should be this time. I appreciated the company’s urgency in replacing the product. ## My only request for the company - Please provide White Velcro straps with the white colored guardrail. Not black. ## For Reference - Rail was installed on a full size Fisher Price Riley Island 3 in 1 crib

Easy to assemble and sturdy, works great for our crib. only con is it seems a bit expensive for what it is at $40.

This product is really worth it for the money. Easy to assemble and install. My toddler loves getting in and out of her crib by herself now. This will make potty training at night more doable this year. Love this product!

The screws give it a firm hold and you are sure it’s not falling off, although I wish it was a bit higher. This was a great buy. Set up was less than 15 mins.

The instructions were easy to read. My grandson sleeps safe and sound!

This is a great guard. I was worried it would be wobbly. But with the extra securing bars it’s perfect for the crib transition

We just installed this in our kids bedroom. So far so good, he seems to like it. My only negative is instead of being in the middle maybe to the side my kid can’t get in and out easy. There is a button on either side for the entire thing to lower but I don’t want my son to play with it. When he wakes up in the middle of the night it’s hard for him to get over it or squeeze through the side. Other then that it’s been great
