This is one of a few Ed Sheeran albums I purchased this year and one of many special edition albums and just like the others it's awesome, the cover and sleave are of a really good quality and the sound quality is amazing but of course it's the orange vinyl that stands out and it is stunning

Amazing and beautiful! I first purchased "X" on vinyl and was very impressed that the team pressed it on 180 gram and ran it at 45 RPM for a 12" record! "+" is a little different for the orange vinyl pressing. It is a beautiful monotone album jacket with a simple white sleeve with a beautiful richly butterscotch colored orange vinyl tucked inside. A lot of folks don't care of the non traditional vinyl but I do and like it when they (the marketing team) things outside of the box. I remember years ago when I purchased Styx Paradise City and the vinyl was etched with a beautiful city if you held the album up to the light at an angle. Today everyone get their music digitally through their provider of choice and that is OK because music is to be enjoyed. I love this renaissance of vinyl and I'm so glad that musicians are at least doing a limited press of their work. I really love the sound you get from a needle on a turntable and hearing that beautiful richness from a left and right channel of music. Lets talk about the album "plus". This one contains the track A-team when it was originally released. It sounds wonderful along with the 11 songs (12 total). My personal favorites are Wake Me Up, Lego House and Give Me Love! It seems to move from one song to the next with a melodic soulfulness that blossoms with a scent of a new flower as each song begins and ends. It almost overwhelms you and give you a bit of anticipation for the next song to begin. Before you know it side A has ended and you get that familiar click that tells you to flip it to continue the beauty. Ed Sheeran is an artist that has come to us with his voice that strikes you somewhere deep inside and lets you know he is here. The only thing more wonderful would be to have him in your living room with his guitar doing a jam session while passing around a bottle of bourbon. I hope this helps you decided on a purchase. I do believe this is available as a regular vinyl pressing but you would miss out on the beautiful translucent disc as it spins on your turntable. Also, for some reason (even though I purchased this from Amazon) I didn't get the "auto rip" option. I am a prime member so I can listen on the go but no digital downloads included with the disk. Enjoy this! Enjoy your vinyl and enjoy Ed as he works his way into your soul.

Bought the cd a few years ago. Attracted by the 🍊 transparent vinyl. Ordered it without further hesitation. It'll be a complete set if I purchase the "×" album. Should I? Vinyl is slightly warp but it sounds great still. Never regret.
