Question 1

Are these pans solid stainless steel, or do they have perforated base stuck on bottom of pan?

Accepted Answer

The pans are solid stainless steel but have an additional layer of steel on the base for added strength. Can throughly recommend them and are best set of saucepans I've ever bought. As far as I know the solid steel versions were never on general sale in the U.K.

Question 2

How deep are these pans and what capacity?

Accepted Answer

Smallest Saucepan holds MAX 1.6L, Medium MAX 2.1L, Large MAX 2.6L

Question 3

Can you put the handles in the dish washer

Accepted Answer

Not recommended, I hand wash the whole lot tbh, they clean easily - official blurb below

Some parts are dishwasher-safe and other parts aren't. (Please see below.) If it is dishwasher-safe, please use a neutral detergent when cleaning. Some dishwashers may not be compatible with pots/frying pans so please check the instruction manual of your dishwasher before use.
Dishwasher Compatibility:
Pot/frying pan part: YES
Special handle: NO
Cooking lid: (excluding knob of magnet-types): YES
Detachable lid knobs of magnet-types: NO (It may result in rusting)
Storage seal lid: NO (It may result in deformation)
To prolong the life of your pan, we recommend hand washing with a non-abrasive sponge. Dishwasher use: it is preferable to use gentle detergents such as a liquid or gel.

Question 4

The leaflet states the pots should not be kept in the fridge for longer than 1 day, anyone knows why?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question. This is based on general food health and safety. Store food in fridge once cooled (within 2 hours), and consume within one - two days. Dependent on food, it can be stored three to four days in the refrigerator. Be sure to eat them within that time.
After that, the risk of food poisoning increases. If you don't think you'll be able to eat leftovers within four days, freeze them immediately.
