Design as Art: Bruno Munari (Penguin Modern Classics)

Such an interesting book, helped me write my FMP report for Graphic Design.

Well written book with interesting opinions from an interesting designer.

A classic of its time, worth a read long after it was written even though some of the ideas now seem a little dated. A good price on Amazon.

Love this little book as I am really interested in design. I am enjoying reading it and it is great to just dip into it now and again.

A great artist and a great book.

This book is packed full of wisdom for sure. But it was originally published in 1966 and so the type is quite densely crammed in making the wisdom within less accessible to the casual reader. There are lots illustrations in black and white and a smattering of photos reproduced though not on photo paper so they lack detail somewhat. Despite all that I know the book will be worth persevering with!

Even though this book is fifty years old it is still current and up to date. An easy and lovely read for all design lovers.
