Excellent quality hose and great price compared to others on the market.

It’s kinking and giving me problems.

This is a basic garden hose and doesnt come with any fittings. Once uncoiled it resists laying straight, however this might get better over time (in full sun). No problems with it kinking, but it seems 'small' internally so difficult to push onto tap connector etc. I found I could only do it by warming the hose end with a low flame blowtorch. However once on the connector it then grips tight.

I bought this because it was really cheap, and I wanted a long hose to lay in one place and leave there (i.e. tap to veg plot). It's kind of fit for purpose, but it took an age to get it set up, because it kinks very, very easily. To be fair, the manufacturer tells you (on the packaging at least) that this item has the lowest level of kink resistance imaginable. They speak the truth. This hose will kink if you touch it, look at it, say its name three times, and sometimes - and I kid you not - if you put water through it. But it is unbelievably cheap...so what else do you expect? Just don't think of putting it on a hose reel.

Arrived on time, well packed and is working well. The only slight issue we had was it tendency to curl again. It had been curled into a tight shape for so long, it retained it for a while.

I needed a long hose for my allotment, and when I saw the price I thought it was a great deal. However on my second use the hose had split in two places! It had kinked even though it was on a hose reel, and at these kink points the hose just split open. The hose is VERY stiff, and I think that’s what led to the splitting.

Assez surpris au déballage : c'est un tuyau PVC gainé/plastifié de qualité plutôt bonne pour son tarif (par rapport aux produits que j'ai pu utiliser dans cette gamme de prix). Le diamètre est assez faible mais il permet la pose de connecteurs rapides à griffes (diam 15) qui pincent plutôt bien : l'épaisseur PVC + gaine semble suffisante pour que le connecteur tienne la pression sans fuir, mais à voir lorsqu'il fera très chaud... (au pire je passerai sur une connexion laiton + colliers serflex). Il fait 12.7mm, le diamètre de mes 2 sorties d'eau coté jardin étant en 12/17 et 15/21 : aucun problème de débit. Le gainage est bien rigide, ni écrasements, torsions à l'enroulage/déroulage ou affaissement une fois hors pression à déplorer (mais ce sera à vraiment vérifier une fois ramolli sous le soleil et bronzé quelques mois sous les UV...). Pour moi c'est un produit jardinage-lavage d'entrée de gamme qui offre un bon rapport qualité/longueur/prix. EDIT : l'épaisseur est un peu trop juste pour des connecteurs plastiques (suintements), je les ai remplacés par des raccords en laiton : c'est parfaitement étanche désormais.
