Is this the same as 7.0, just wondered what the difference was?

It was the product and number that was recommended by my super expert hairdresser . It is the 7.00.

Does this product need to be used with anything else and is it easy to use

You need to use the dye with Oxidant. So an oxidant of 10 vol (3%) or 20 vol (6%) would be adequate depending on how lighter you want the dye to be on your hair. You can read the difference of different volumes of oxidant on internet before purchasing.
