Will grind your coffee, not your gears
This is a fantastic little coffee grinder. The cost is very reasonable for the quality. It's simple to use, just plug and play. The grinding action is very effective and takes around 15-20 seconds to very adequately grind beans down to a fine powder. Haven't had any issues with mess, though you may not want to pour the ground directly from this, better off using a scoop/spoon. It's relatively easy to clean with a little water and a brush. Feels very safe to use, the lid stay on securely. It does made a noise but it's to be expected and perfectly fine, no lounder than a blender, and as you'll only be using this in short bursts, it's not an issue for me. Used a few times over the last several weeks and it seems to be quite durable, your mileage may vary but with adequate care, I don't foresee any issues with using this long term. Lightweight and easy to store away when not in use and a very easy to use, effective tool for making great coffee.

Perfect Grinder for My Needs – Great for Black Sesame!
This grinder is exactly what I was looking for, and so far it has been perfect. It grinds black sesame seeds into a very fine and smooth powder, just the way I want it 👍🏻 The results are consistent and efficient, making the whole process quick and easy. I’m very satisfied with its performance and truly happy with this purchase. I really like it!

it does the job, is quick and not expensive
LIkes? Not expensive. It is quiet and quick. It seems well made although I haven't really had it long enough to comment on durability. It is very simple to use. No serious dislikes but one or two downsides. I use a stovetop espresso machine which is best with fine ground coffee such as you buy. This grinder does a reasonable job but the coffee is not really ground fine enough for this sort of use..It is ok for filter and cafetière use. The "hopper" for holding the beans and the ground coffee is fixed in the top of the machine so tipping out the ground coffee is a bit awkward without spilling. For the same reason the hopper has to be cleaned by brushing it out which is a bit fiddly. Definitely can't wash it out as water would get into the motor with probably exciting result! I shall use it but at some time will likely buy one which has adjustable grinding "fineness", and a removable hopper which will make it easier to empty and clean. Will have to spend a bit more I guess.

Good little bean grinder
Great little bean grinder. Does enough in one go for 2 large mugs of coffee. I use a French press and the flavour of my usual beans was just as good as previous grinder. I bought this due to the 12 month guarantee and 1 yr fixed warranty. It takes up little space on my limited worktop area and plugs in to a normal 3 pin plug. Stands approx 7” high. Matt grey plastic body wit metal blades. The run time is 30 seconds then you leave it to cool down for 3 mins between grinds to avoid over heating. As its only me that drinks coffee once a day I’m fine with that. You don’t need to do it for 30 secs anyway! I didn’t want anything fancy or expensive. The coffee holder is fixed but you just tip the grinds into your jug and then I use the cleaning brush supplied to sweep out the remains. If it lasts the test of time my five stars will remain. Let’s see. So far I’m very pleased with it for the price. It suits my needs.

20 Seconds to Coffee Bliss!
I’ve been using the Andrew James Electric Coffee Grinder for my daily grind since September 24, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Every morning, it takes just about 20 seconds to grind enough beans for my 4-cup cafetiere (though you could grind a bit more). It's quick, efficient, and consistent. I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever and it’s been running smoothly day in and day out. Occasionally, some grinds stick to the inside (probably due to a bit of moisture int the beans that I have been using), but that’s no hassle at all since it came with a handy little brush that makes cleaning a breeze. The build quality feels top-notch, and it’s clear this grinder is made to last. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality coffee grinder!

Absolutely no good for grinding nuts. waste of money.
Extremely disappointed on several accounts. Firstly the quality is poor, e.g. the switch push rod end looks used /worn (see photo). Secondly I purchased it to grind nuts (because it says it can) however it is very poor at grinding nuts, in a batch of almonds and hazelnuts it will grind some to a powder and leave others hardly touched. N.B. I have tried just a few, also opening it and moveing the nuts around before trying again and nothing i did made any difference. Finally I found it quite tedious to clean the unit after use. The grinder may be very good at grinding coffee, which i have not tried but it is useless at grinding nuts despite the description saying it can.

Lieber in mehreren kurzen Etappen mahlen. Das Ding kriegt letztlich alles kurz und klein. Von meiner Seite klare Kaufempfehlung !

It’s smoking and the machine is burning and the grinder turns on the minute you plug it in highly dangerous
