Battery life in mine has been very short, I am changing them at roughly monthy intervals. Having said that I have been relying on the "Low Battery" indication on my 'phone. Yesterday I fitted a new battery and today I'm getting a "Critically low battery" indication. The battery still shows 2.93 volts using a good quality voltmeter. So I'm wondering if it's the monitoring circuitry at fault. When it is working it does take an inordinately long time to connect. Even when I am within a few feet of the device. In all I am thinking that it's more like an overpriced toy rather that a useful tool. Probably it would have been a justifiable slightly higher spend to have gone for a genuine GPS device which would have many advantages.

Device would not pair. Tried everything to get the TrackR to open to attempt battery change etc...couldn’t get it open. Extremely disappointed. Not returnable at this stage, waste.

Both the TrackR app and website falsely claim that Alexa can be used to ring the phone to which the pixel is paired. After I spent hours fiddling around to get it to work, I contacted Trackr. They state that this does not work in the UK. Frustrating to hear that they are happy to falsely document the function.

Pack of three. One totally flat battery, other two batteries less than half. Unusable until new batteries fitted. Something as basic as this should not have happened. Be prepared to spend money on new batteries.
